Dear Friends,
Writing to let you know about what should be an incredible weekend of music. I'll be premiering a new book of compositions for octet entitled "Travail, Transformation, & Flow," with an amazing ensemble of musicians who truly, truly represent the state-of-the-art on their respective instruments. These performances mark the culmination of almost a year's worth of work and I am so thrilled to be able to present the music with such a crack ensemble -- we'll be headed into the studio a couple of days after these performances to document everything for a forthcoming CD on Pi Recordings.
