Hey everybody, I'm back from Rennes. Seb and I spent the last three days in his studio, and I must say that our collaboration seems to be more fruitful than imagined! We already worked on three new songs, tentatively titled "Cold War", "Belize" and "Wake Up". It will be very different from all the stuff we've both been working on. This project is still unnamed for the moment - but hey, songs are more important. We're looking forward to working together again and to creating a MySpace page... I hope that you'll like the result! Despite of previous enthusiasm regarding a Dawn reunion, this project won't happen this time - again. Due to conflicting time schedules and priorities, Bastien and I won't be making together for quite a long time I guess.

Yet! Yet, I don't want to make music alone again. I needed to do it at some point, but for now, I need to be part of a creative drive that includes other people. As collaboration with Sébastien Nizet worked well on my solo stuff, we both decided to found a project based on our influences, songwriting and resources. It's still unnamed but we're actively talking about it. First songwriting and recording sessions will take place in september, and I'm really looking forward to it.

This will be quite a busy autumn, for I'm also busy with theatre projects, pragmatic research and teaching duties at my university. But hey, inspiration must come from somewhere!

As soon as some songs are ready, I'll keep you informed about anything we will set up in the next weeks/months - a MySpace page, probably, as well as other stuff.

Hi folks,

It's been written in the stars for a few years now, but my brother Bastien and myself are working on new stuff, demoing songs for the moment. This means that this solo project will be put on hold for the moment and that you'll probably some news about the band Dawn in the following weeks. It's been almost five years since we last played together and I'm delighted to start it all again with him. Just expect some rock mixed with electronic textures. It will be quite different from what we did in the past, just because we experienced a lot on our separate ways.

I'll tell you more about it in the near future !

Hey all,

I'm so sorry for remaining so silent. It's not that I just gave up or anything like that; as I said, I've been quite busy with my Ph.D. thesis. The defense will be held on June 5th: after this date, I'll be working on new stuff again. Probably with Seb, again. I have been writing loads of lyrics lately and I want to make my sound move on. I want to work on more minimalist stuff, with a groovy feel. Just an idea. Don't know what it will sound like. But working titles are already dwelling here somewhere.

I'm also busy with improvisational theatre. I know belong to a group called "Zygomatiks" and we're working quite a lot. I hope that you understand my sudden silence... but it won't last that long anyway.

Hello folks,

Sorry if I haven't been writing much lately, but I've been quite busy with my research and all. I attented a really fantastic conference in Sevilla, then took the train to London with my brother to spend a few days there. Really nice by the way.

It's not that I'm forgetting my musical part at all, but I haven't got the time to play some gigs for the moment - which doesn't mean I won't play some in the future, so stay tuned ! Still writing new tracks as well, of course. And waiting for the feedback of some labels.

2008 is starting well : I received the 500 promo copies of the "Smell of Winter EP" today. They're just here, ready to be shipped ! Hey all,

I received Seb's new mixes yesterday, and they sound really fantastic. The crystal clear production makes it worth a listen, really... these new mixes will be used for the Smell Of Winter EP. Now, the cd's will be manufactured and the EP should be released some time in December or January. It will be sent to labels, tour promoters and professionals, but you'll be able to order a few ones through this site (i think Paypal would be a nice choice).

New gigs are planned for 2008 as well. I'll keep you posted.

Dear friends,

It's with the deepest shock and sadness that I learned last saturday that our close friend Nico had passed away. Though it's difficult to understand, we must face the fact that it was his choice to put an end to his too short life. He was only 22 and a really gifted musician. I played with him in my former band Overcast and here, we all really miss him. My sincerest and warmest thoughts go to his family. He didn't leave a note or a letter that could have explained this act.

We're all grieving for him while he's now probably playing the guitar with Jimi Hendrix.

Sorry to have been "afk" during all these days, but i've been busy working on the release of the forthcoming "Smell of Winter EP". The EP will contain the five following tracks (tracklisting subject to change) : Smell Of Winter, Chicoutimi, Talk With Strangers, Downtown Princes and the odd country electronic tune Sarah. This EP will be for promotional use only and is produced by Sébastien Nizet. It will be mostly sent to record companies, label and booking agencies in order to find new partners. By the way, the partnership with A&R Select is one of the best things that happened to me this year (apart from working with Seb, of course ), and we're getting along very well. I'm happy to have professional people to refer to.

No gigs should be happening in the near future (the rumour of a concert in Brussels is still as real as George W. Bush's knowledge of foreign politics for the moment), and the EP should be available some time in the near future (this winter). If somebody still wants an EP, don't hesitate to write me a message and I will try to send you one when they're in.

I'm still interested in playing everywhere, so if you know someone that can help me that way (or if you are yourself this someone), don't hesitate to write me either. I'm also going to work on new songs with Seb in the near future. The "Smell of Winter" video should also be included on the EP. Maybe a release party will take place for all this somewhere in Paris, but it's in the stars for the moment !

Just came back from a wonderful trip in Brussels, Belgium, which allowed me to physically meet the team of my booking agency LoverBooking, including Emma and a few other artists, like Greg (of Thot) and Auryn. Everything was fine, although I could not meet all the folks I wanted to see, but that's alright anyway, cause we all had quite tight time schedules.

Marc Durant (of Suicide Blue Morning) also took a few new pictures for the forthcoming "Smell of Winter EP", and I really find them wonderful. He's a gifted photographer, really.

Next step will be the two german gigs in September, as well as the final editing of the video for "Smell of Winter"... as Nikki told me, it should be ready by the end of this month. I'm looking forward to seeing it and I will then post it online here.
