Current mood:  chipper
Ok ok... so it's safe to say that we are an official TRIO now, and the gods of rock must align the stars in order for us to triumph once again. For those who have shown us support: we love you and thank you for making us feel welcome... For those of you who like our music and wish it to continue unchanged... we are sorry, it will be progressing on a different road. For those of you who like our music and saw potential, and wished we could be something more... well... you are in luck. With the loss of a band member, we have gained perspective... We have been working diligently to define a new sound and to proceed with our mission to entertain. We hope to be playing shows with our new repertoire by early 2008.
We shall return with a vengeance...

We shall return better than ever!

Thanks,

Ant

Current mood:  accomplished
The bitter and distinct cloud of defeat is certainly not upon us,
There may be doors opening soon, but right now they are as open as
the mouths of defensive clams... We will shred the windows and
doors of our institution...
Limits are of the mind, Limits must be banished from our souls.

I have a motto, not always followed,
There can be no greatness without risk... and
the question we must ask ourselves and each other is: how far will we go? Chris, how far will you take this dream? Scott, What will you do for this dream? Sean, When will you make this dream come true? Anthony, Why is this your dream? What will you put this dream before? Who will this dream come before? Is this dream bigger than four men?

Current mood:still riled up over that crappy ball game
Everyone knows that knock knock joke. In this case, the banana is "hey our stuff's almost done", and you're like just say orange so the joke can end. But we just keep on going with the banana. Well hey, we're almost there and to prove it we wanted to put up a couple of tunes. My rough estimate for completion is... 5 weeks.

And sadly, we are still searching for the perfect name for this burly band of men.

I'm still pissed about last night's Mets loss. So Taguchi? So not cool! I'm glad we traded our tickets for game 1 and missed that poor display. But ya gotta believe, right?

Current mood:i just woke up
We were about 5 hefty lungs away from winning some cash - but it's alright, we got drunk and had a dance party afterward! Thanks to everyone who showed up for us and got to see Scott's tangerine shirt. He likes tangerine. He likes magazines! Too much?

Current mood:waiting for guffman

Word has come down that we'll probably have to change our name, and it'll probably happen in parallel with the record drop.  However, two probablies are involved, so you never know.

Meanwhile, we're hard at work finishing up this record.  My original estimation of completion was early June, and that seems to be a bit off.  I'll take one more stab at a guess, and say September 5 will be the big date.  That also happens to be the 25th birthday of a really cool dude, but I'll protect his privacy in this post.

Scott is talking about moving to, and joining me here in beautiful Astoria, Queens.  Once he does that we can take down that smelly "& New Jersey" text in our "location blurb".  Similarly, Ant is in the process of moving into Seans apartment.  I know what you're thinking, and no, they won't be sharing a bed.  What am I getting at?  By mid July, the band should be settled comfortably into two New York City boroughs, eliminating Jersey off of our depth chart, because we all know that three is a crowd.

Current mood:  sick

So we've started to record an album... with the charismatic and talented Antonio... I dont know his last name... HinchKraft Studios is the shit.

The only problem, is I am not there right now.  Yesterday we began our musical documentation at around 2... I was sort of cranky because I was getting sick, and of course today came the full fledged sickness, with all the glorious body aches, throat puss and fever that come with it...

So, 3/4 of The Great Unwashed are finishing up the day's work as I type...

It's going to be a great recording... and because of the awesomeness that is life, HinchKraft Studios has led me to the Fender Rhodes piano of my dreams... anyway, the record will have about 11 songs and it will rock your fucking socks off to say the least...

Antonio the engineer/owner of HinchKraft says it sounds like "math rock" but, he gives us too much credit, because we are all terrible at math!

In the meantime while the album is being made... Songs need titles and songs need lyrics.... and I need to convince my bandmates that some songs need some Rhodes Piano!

So wish us luck, and wish me health, because I seriously need to get better!

Current mood:  optimistic

Gracias.

Current mood:Satiated
I have recieved some complaints that our songs were of poor quality, so to please you, we have put together a new live recording. This was done on monday as a quick run through of our set, and I'm pleased with the sound. You can hear some vocals, finally. Some of the songs aren't yet done, as I'm sure you can tell.

Here's some exciting news. I just saved a bunch of money by switching my car insurance! Actually that's not true, Geico gave me a higher quote than what I currently pay. But I do have good news!. We'll be in and out of the studio, recording with our friend Antonio, starting April 9. Wish us luck, send us candy. Hopefully we'll have this thing done and ready to sell you, ahem, play for you, by the first day of Summer.

In totally unrelated news, the New York Metropolitains are 2.5 weeks from taking the field at Shea, and I've got my tickets! Cliff Floyd, my man, isn't having kidney problems after all. Pedro just needs to keep his big toe attached to his body and we'll be O.K.! LETS GO METS!

While we're off topic, let me go on record as saying I hope that Tony Soprano is dead, and the rest of this season revolves around Christopher.

Your brother from another Mother, (unless you're Jim Colton)
Chris
