Hey Everyone!!
I am writing today having played the final show of the tour last night which was absolutely brilliant.
Everything kicked off at The Tunnels in Aberdeen, always good to play to a hometown crowd, which on this occasion was made up of wasted teenagers from Kemnay Academy........they were absolutely hilarious. This was followed by a piss-up at my residence.......ACE!
Having eventually got over the fact that there would be no Dundee gig due to a serious fuck up from the Dexters staff we embarked on our journey anyway because of the travel and hotels we had already booked. So we made the most of a bad situation and absolutely wasted instead of playing......events are now hazy but I remember Dundee Student Union being a very impressive setup! The night ended with 6 of us being repulsed by the behaviour of Saucy who kept whipping out his knob.
We awoke the next day to our eleven o'clock train to Glasgow to play the Nice and Sleazy venue on Sauchiehall Street. We arrived at our travelodge at around two o clock and were settling into our surroundings when the fire alarm went off and no less than three fire engines were outside the building for at least 20 minutes, with myself wearing a "housecoat" according to Derek.........however to the rest of the human race this is a dressing gown. The Glasgow gig was ok, not too busy but enough people there to make it a good show. Some of us finished the night in the hotel and some went to Sub Club...........I don't think I have ever laughed as much as I did on Friday.
Midday train to Edinburgh from Glasgow saw us arrive to stay at a hostel which has the most horrendous staircase I have ever seen in my life.....especially when a suitcase full of booze is being carried. Edinburgh was by far the best day of the tour, having met Curators the night before we had some banter with them and we seemed to enjoy each other's company to the point where Paddy and Jon are now due to be married. Despite this love affair the gig was immense, we played the best set we have played in a while and generally had a brilliant time. Chucking in satisfaction made it all a bit more fun as well!
On the whole it was the most fun I think I've ever had in my life, everbody was contantly pissing themselves laughing and it was a great group of people to spend the weekend with. At the same time it was good to do something as significant as this with Andrew still in the band and do it with the original band lineup before he leaves us for Glasgow in a few months time.
Thanks to Calum for giving us this opportunity, Thanks to Isolated Atoms for having us, Thanks to Curators for being ace, and last but not least thanks to Thomas, John and Saucy for accompanying us on this venture it was so much fun.
Cheers
Daryl

Hello Folks!
We are delighted to announce that in April we are going on our first tour, supporting Isolated Atoms for their Scottish dates in Aberdeen, Dundee, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
The release of Helena went very well, we still have some remaining copies available through this page, and Oneup have them in stock too aswell as the cavern.
2009 has been so far so good, despite it only being January we've had a busy month with the release of the single, a couple of radio appearances and now the mini-tour has been booked.
So................hopefully we'll see you at one of the dates on tour! Check out our gig listing section on the homepage for all the tour dates and many others.
Thanks again,
Paddy, Daryl, Andy and Derek

We are delighted to announce the release of our debut single, "Helena", on Saturday 17th January 2009. We're playing as part of the Dirty Disco night on the same day at The Tunnels, and this will also act as a single launch where the first lucky few of you will be able to get your hands on the CD! We're still negotiating the cost but it's not gonna be anything outrageous.

Track Listing:

It may also be available for download but you'll just have to wait and see!

Thanks,

Paddy, Daryl, Derek and Andy
