Hey everyone,

Happy Holidays. 

To wrap up 2009, we're finally getting around to film the video for "Gettin' Dirty In The Afterlife" so expect it to be finished (I'm hoping) mid-week next week, so around December 20th? Don't hold me to it, but I think I can have it ready by then. I promise it'll be just as ridiculous as our album cover.

We're also going into the home studio and recording a couple of new songs that will be available for free as a digital 7" hopefully before the new year.

TGTGG has two shows in the lovely city of Halifax coming up.

FRIDAY - NOV.13 - GUS' PUB
w/ Kestrels!

Late November/December shows might follow. 

We're busy working on new material for the next recording (album/ep/7"). whatever it is, the progress has been good so far. we're looking forward to playing some of the new jams live in the next few weeks.

Thanks to everyone who came out on a rainy Tuesday night in St. John's, NFLD to see me play solo. We'll come back with the band next time, I promise.

Thank you to everyone who ordered the "original" TGTGG t-shirt. (Erica yours is in the mail!). They're all gone now. When we hit the road this summer, we'll have a new design to celebrate "Sahalee".

LISTEN to TGTGG make our famous baked beans with Mat and Dave!

Ingredients:

1 Can of Black Beans
2 cans of Chick Peas
2 cans of baked beans
1 dark chocolate bar
1/4 cup of BBQ sauce (Sweet Baby Ray's)
3 or 4 tbsp of wine
1-2 chugs worth of beer
2-3 tbsp of ketchup
1 tsp of hot sauce
1/8 cup molasses

Dump everything in a pot on medium-high heat and let it stew for about 20-25 minutes until it is nice and saucy.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

The first TGTGG full-length LP is done and it's coming out on July 14 on the NOYES RECORDS imprint. We'll be playing all across Canada in August to hock this thing, so we can't wait to make new friends and renew old acquaintances.

As soon as the "Sahalee" artwork is complete we'll post a few new jams. Until then, here's the tracklisting.

We finished mixing our first full-length last week and aside from a few minor alterations these pants are almost ready to be put on! Warren Spicer (Pants and Sandals) did an amazing job.
The track list is pretty much complete too.

hey everyone,

Just a quick update from CAMP TGTGG. we've been recording our first full length record over the last month and it's getting really close to being done. The drums were recorded with J. LaPointe in early December out at his beautiful studio in Minesville, Nova Scotia. We brought the tapes back from the country to our boys Charles, Dave, and Andrew at the Echo Chambre and to quote Charles, did most of the "sweet guitars of youth" there. Tonight, we recorded most of the strings with my old pal Andrew Watt at Common Ground Studios. So we only have to add some 7-string bass and we're done.
There's no track order or title for the album yet, but "Scrabble Creek" is the front-runner at this point, but "That Popcorn Ain't Gonna Pop Itself" is pretty good.
