Happy 4th guys! I just got back from Georgia and I came back with a haul (25) books! I had fun. Oh crud, I just realized I hadn't posted about my other blog on here yet: http://reviewsofthings.blogspot.com/. As you can tell from the name, it's reviews of things. The title is The Movieholic, Bibliophile, & Music Junkie. I finished a review on one of the books I read that Amanda gave me while I was up there. Well I have to run, I've got a car to unpack, junk to put away, places to find for my new books, attention-starved cats to love on and I really have to take a shower and get the "road grime" off of me!

Wish me luck. The Lalley family is having a family reunion this weekend so there are tons of people I get to meet for the first time. Scary right?

At least I'm getting a haircut and a pedicure before coming to Georgia next week.

Oh and if you liked the Wuzzle article I've opened a new blog for that purpose... well actually it's to get people more aware of one of my favorite sites. Anyways here's the link to my review site: http://ladytinkshappyplace.blogspot.com/

Does anyone remember The Wuzzles? It was a highly marketed Disney cartoon show in the 80's about a bunch of animals living in the land of Wuz. What was so special about these animals was that "every single thing is really two in one". For example: a monkey + a rhino = Rhinokey. Here is a list of all the characters:

Despite all the toys, clothes, stuffed animals, books, and even radios made to make this wonderful show even more appealing, only 13 episodes were ever made. Mainly because Bill Scott died (he was the voice of several main characters), and partly because it wasn't making that big of a hit in the United States so Disney pulled the plug.

I only vaguely remember the show and that's mainly because I had the Butterbear and Bumblelion stuffed animals when I was little. But nowadays with all the nostalgia sites cropping up more and more people have become aware of this little gem. There are quite a few of fan sites devoted to The Wuzzles.

Last night I stumbled onto a couple videos and I was in Wuzzle-heaven for a little while. I got to watch one of the cartoons (I'm pretty sure it's the very first one), Bulls of a Feather and a commercial for the stuffed animals. Enjoy!

Here's Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3 of the cartoon.

I just got back from grocery shopping at Wally-World. I only picked up one item that I wasn't totally sure I would like: some Jelly Belly Soda Pop Shoppe Jelly Beans. I love Jelly Belly, Jelly Beans (did you hear about the perfume they came out with? Too cool!) so my gamble paid off. I really like these, well most of them anyways. As a lot of people know, I HATE Dr. Pepper and unfortunatly that is one of the flavors as well as A&W Root Beer. They also happen to look sorta alike. I know, blech! Well there are other flavors and they are SO yummy and taste just like the drinks they supposed to be: Orange Crush, Grape Crush, 7Up, and A&W Cream Soda. Now if they had just replaced Dr. Pepper with Cherry Coke I would be much happier. As it is I feel gipped that they didn't come like this:

Here's what mine looks like (and yes I took these pictures so they do look a little funny):
