Lucifer was origionally a Greek Diety by the name of Selene. Eventually Selene was Latinized into Lucifer. Here's an article on Selene below....†

In Greek mythology, Selene (Se????, "moon"; Modern Greek pronunciation IPA: [s?'li?.ni?]) was an archaic lunar deity and the daughter of the titans Hyperion and Theia.[1] In Roman mythology the moon goddess was Luna.

Like most moon deities, Selene plays a fairly large role in her pantheon. However, Selene was eventually largely supplanted by Artemis, and Luna by Diana. In the collection known as the Homeric hymns, there is a Hymn to Selene (xxxii), paired with the hymn to Helios; in its Selene is addressed as "far-winged", an epithet ordinarily applied to birds. Selene is mentioned in Nonnus, Dionysiaca 48.581; Pausanias 5.1.4; and Strabo 14.1.6, among others.

The etymology of Selene is uncertain, but if the word is of Greek origin, it is likely connected to the word selas, meaning "light".[2] Boreion Selas is the Greek name for Aurora Borealis. The name is the root of selenology, the study of the geology of the Moon. The chemical element selenium was also named after Selene.

 Depictions

In post-Renaissance art, Selene is generally depicted as a beautiful woman with a pale face, riding a silver chariot pulled by a yoke of oxen or a pair of horses. Often, she has been shown riding a horse or bull, wearing robes and a half-moon on her head and carrying a torch. Essentially, Selene is the moon goddess but is literally defined as 'the moon'.

 Myths

 Genealogy

In the traditional pre-Olympian divine genealogy, Helios, the sun, is Selene's brother: after her brother, Helios, finishes his journey across the sky, Selene, freshly washed in the waters of Earth-circling Ocean,[3] begins her own journey as night falls upon the earth, which becomes lit from the radiance of her immortal head and golden crown[4]. When she is increasing after mid-month, it is a "sure token and a sign to mortal men". Her sister, Eos, is goddess of the dawn. Eos also carried off a human lover, Cephalus,[5] which mirrors a myth of Selene and Endymion.

As a result of Selene being conflated with Artemis, later writers sometimes referred to Selene as a daughter of Zeus, like Artemis, or of Pallas the Titan. In the Homeric Hymn to Hermes, with its characteristically insistent patrilineality, she is "bright Selene, daughter of the lord Pallas, Megamedes' son."

 Lovers

Apollonius of Rhodes (4.57) tells how Selene loved a mortal, the handsome hunter or shepherd—or, in the version Pausanias knew, a king— of Elis, named Endymion, from Asia Minor. He was so beautiful that Selene asked Zeus to grant him eternal life so he would never leave her: her asking permission of Zeus reveals itself as an Olympian transformation of an older myth: Cicero (Tusculanae Disputationes) recognized that the moon goddess had acted autonomously. Alternatively, Endymion made the decision to live forever in sleep. Every night, Selene slipped down behind Mount Latmus near Miletus. (Pausanias v.1.5). Selene had fifty daughters from Endymion, including Naxos. The sanctuary of Endymion at Heraclea on the southern slope of Latmus is a horseshoe-shaped chamber with an entrance hall and pillared forecourt.

Though the story of Endymion is the best-known one today, the Homeric hymn to Selene (xxxii) tells that Selene also bore Zeus a daughter, Pandia, the "utterly shining" full moon. According to some sources, the Nemean Lion was her offspring as well. She also had a brief trist with Pan, who seduced her by wrapping himself in a sheepskin[2] and gave her the yoke of white oxen that drew the chariot in which she is represented in sculptured reliefs, with her windblown veil above her head like the arching canopy of sky. In the Homeric hymn, her chariot is drawn by long-maned horses.

 Luna

The goddess of the moon, Luna, had a temple on the Aventine Hill. It was built in the sixth century BC, but was destroyed in the Great Fire of Rome during Nero's reign. There was also a temple dedicated to Luna Noctiluca ("Luna that shines by night") on the Palatine Hill. There were festivals in honor of Luna on March 31, August 24 and August 29.[6][7]

Oh how I long for her
that beautiful soul
Soft skin
as beautiful as the moon
Her hair
Shines like the stars
So beautiful
so soft
I long for her touch
I cry in agony
for her presence
To hold her in my arms
to have that beautiful soul
Next to mine
Forever through time
forever as mine
Oh how I long for her
That beautiful soul

I recently read a news-article in which a man was robbed at gun point. Upon robbing this teenager said "Now that I have a gun to your head you respect me now dont you?"
I find it sad that today's society believes that fear=respect. Many times I have seen people putting fear into others, threatening their well being and demanding respect.
From my experience, fear is not compatible with respect. True that one with fear people with fear in their hearts would act the part of respect but that is not true respect at all. It is indeed simply an act to assure one's safety. The moment that the feared falls down, he would be surrounded by those whom feared him/her. They hate him/her with a passion that would most likely push them into an action to protect themselves and those that they love. Do I really need to elaborate the results of this action that would take place? It would indeed end with the suffering and death of the so called respected.
On the other hand there are indeed those whom recieve true respect, not respect out of fear but respect out of love. Those that earn such respect will surely have this respect for as long as they live and walk upon this earth. Even at the point of his/her fall, one with such respect would not be surrounded by those that wish him/her harm but by those who will support and care for him/her just the same as he/she supported and cared for them.
So now is my question at the end of this article. Would you rather have the false respect which is the product of fear or would you have the true respect from those who love you?

Love is....

willing to kill

willing to die

willing to confess

willing to lie

willing to live with her

for all her life

even after death

there you lie

together you are

without knowing why

your love is all you need

even when you die

you will know

that you die not alone

but there you fly

knowing your are loved

even if you cry

remember that you were loved

you are loved

this is love

do you have this

or do you lie

trying to convince yourself

and others by your side

do you know true love

or do you cry

when nobody is watching

until you die

do not lie to yourself

get out there and try

to find the one you love

forever until you die

I am the Dark Druid
I revel in the night
Under moon and star
Under the soft blanket of lady night
There I rest
There I have joy
I see the beauty in things others do not
I marvel at the grace of the viper
the cunning of the fox
the wise owl upon his pirch
the scorpian under the rock
I look up in awe at thunder and lightning
I dance with the fire
enjoying myself so
Homage I pay to Azazel
A forgotten and lonely god
betrayed he was by his people
forgotten he was by all but time
portrayed as evil
I find none such in his soul
I see beauty and knowledge
beyond the common soul
now you know my path
be that as you may
bash me praise me
for that is all you may

What exactly is good and evil? this concept pisses me off! Why can people just be without condeming someone for being who they are and calling them evil? Let's see....people call killers evil...but what if said killer killed as an act of mercy towards someone who was suffering terribly? Stealin! Yes...another evil.....But do we condier the fact that this may be the only action someone has available? Do we consider the fact that in doing so they halp feed theyre children or someone else in theyre family? Do we consider that in doing so thye help thyere loved ones survive while it has very little if no effect at all towards said rich man that got stolen from? What about lust? How is lust evil? One needs to satisfy his/her urges.....it is natural...we are born with said urges and desires. Whats wrong with doing what nature intends for us to do? Well.....all in all....good and evil in my eyes is just a concept...a tool if you may,  used by the intelligent to rule over the weak of mind. We dont need this crap! I dont need anyone to tell me that I am good or evil! I am who I am! Fuck all of you whom say I am evil! Go rot with your pathetic God!

In this my readers. I bring you the true nature of your so called "God" and is good for nothing bastard of a son Jesus Fucking Christ. In the bible Man tried to be close to "God" by building the Tower of Babel. "God" Thought himself to be better than humans obviously or why whould he simply destroy the tower and make the people speak different languages. On the subject of Adam and Eve...This one tree forbidden from having  it's fruit plucked and eaten by man. After eating of this fruit God said "Look thet have become like us, let us cast them out lest they become one of us" Who is us? Perhaps there are other gods? perhaps after Adam and Eve ate the fruit of knowledge and later eating of the fruit of life that they would become gods like Jehova himself? Does he truly have our best intrests in mind if he forbids us to become gods like himself? Another thing is that it is claimed God is all forgiving and Perfect.....Anyone remember the story of Adam and Eve? The story of the great flood? The tower of Babel? How about the Fall of Lucifer and his angels? Where is his forgiveness and love there? If he is so DAMN PERFECT how did Lucifer become evil and betray him in the first place? Why would he be willing to wipe out an entire race of beings. Yet have the nerve to call us his children? Why is it that the same GOD of the Quaran, Bible and Kaballah pit us against each other? Why is it that human beings are not allowed to develope and grow in our own way? Why is it that he feels he can dictate us and if we dont do what he wants us to do he can just throw us into a pit of fire and let us burn for all eternity? Fuck that crap! Jesus Fucking Christ is another good story! Guess what it's very obvious that he threatens us into believing. He sees a tree that bears no fruit and destroys it because of that. And says that it is the same with human beings. Bear no fruit and I throw your ass straight down to hell where you can burn for all eternity. You do what I tell you to do and Ill give you all you want. You get to go up to heaven and string a fucking harp for all fucking eternity. Screw that Crap! *Ahem* Now my faithful readers....Now that you have read this rant of mine. I ask you to think about this(if your christian or leaning towards christianity of course) Is this truly a god that you wish to worship? A god who threatens you? a god who lies? a god who thinks that he is so better than you that you cant possibly come near him and throws you out at the first sign of you becoming even close to a god? I know I would have no love for such a god. Do you?

Today my imbicilic readers, we shall cover the subject of Light and Darkness, Black and white....and why it is so insignificant. Light does not = good and Dark does not = evil The are mearly states of being or even concepts if you may. What you choose to do within the light and dark is entirely up to you. Both Light and Dark can easily blind you at anytime too much of either can cause trouble for the human eye. So why isnt it that light isnt just as evil as darkness? Why is it Darkness that gets blamed for evil? So give us Darkness lovers a break. We love the darkness and enjoy it's presence just as much as you love and enjoy the presence of light.
