What's popping everybody. I hope everyone is in good spirits. I just wanted to drop a line to let everyone know that I have my new interactive website up and running. I know that everyone LOVES MYSPACE, but if you get a few extra minutes stop on by. My new site has a  blog feel to it, where I'm just being me and acting silly. I do have some serious post as well. Just to let you know that a brother ain't swallow. Thanks to all that have stop by and feel free to spread the word.

I've been asked my secret to losing weight. Well...... I watch what I eat, when I eat and how much I eat. I'm on something I call "Weight Watcher's Light". It's my own little system where I do some calories counting incorporated with "Weight Watcher's" points system. I guess I'll call it the "Slim Goody System", LOL. But on the REAL.... I have changed my eating habits. No more late night eating, no more empty calories from soda (I would drink at least 3 a day), and limit my fried food intake. My weakness....... dried pineapple & mangos. Although it's fruit, it still is high in sugar.

My Dietary Supplements:
Multivitamin & Green Tea Extract

I also try to hit the gym 5 times a week for 2 hours. I've been posting my workouts online. Visit the following links for my workout activities.  http://www.shapelink.com/en/profile/phatmike

It has been brought to my attention that "Slim Goody" sounds like the name of a  pornstar. What do you think?

What's good everybody?

Just wanted to take some time out to let you in on what's poppin in my life right about now. To start, I've joined the YMCA & Equinox Fitness. I'm hitting the gym to drop a few pounds and to get myself in some kind of shape. I'm tired of having a pot belly and love handles. It took me about 8 years to put the weight on, so it's gonna take time to take it off. I know that Rome wasn't built in a day. The sad thing is... I'm a right "NOW" kind of guy. And I want the weight off "NOW". But I'm focused on taking it day by day to work the weight off.

If anyone else is going thru the same situation and would like to share a few words..... that would be great. Hopefully what you say can have a positive effect in my life and I'm hoping to do the same for you. If I can do... anyone can. Think positive and stay focused.

Remember..... Phatmike Loves You!
Be safe.

The Phatmike you think you know is arrogant, rude and unapproachable, right? If you ask him to play a song, he looks at you as if you're an idiot. Hand him a business card while he's working and it may wind up on the floor. Bump the table while he's mixing and the music might stop. Arrogant, rude, unapproachable, right?

Well, that's one opinion. Now, try this. Phatmike is all about the music. When Phatmike is at a party, he's there to work to play the music that gets and keeps you moving, to lose himself in the music and find the groove. Vocally suggesting that he play a song while he's listening to the beat in his headphones is like being in the passenger seat of a car and jerking the wheel. So if he looks at you strangely, it's only because you've interrupted the music in his head, disturbed the beat and ruined his focus for the moment. But, dont take it personally, it's not you. The music, not the man has control.

As a matter of fact, mixing and living the DJ lifestyle is only one of the many facets of Phatmike. He also has a regular nine to five and is self-employed. Phatmike has been working for the government almost as long as hes been a DJ.

Educated in art at Xavier University, Phatmike has recently begun a new venture as a graphic designer. He designs business cards and flyers and his cd covers. In addition to this, he also produces and promotes his line of disco, house, hip-hop/r&b mixed CDs.

Phatmike is one of those people passionate about and dedicated to good music. So, instead of thinking of Phatmike as arrogant, rude and unapproachable, try business minded and focused. Now, you know Phatmike.
