Galy Booking Presents: Misery Index's TRAITORS CANADA TOUR 2009
Long-established traitors of their own country's political and economic systems, Baltimore's deathgrind institution Misery Index will be fleeing to Eastern Canada to spend the months of April and May. The band continues touring on the strength of their sophomore full-length for Relapse Records, "Traitors," which received critical acclaim across the board from both major and independent print and web-based publications following its release, and continues to enjoy repeated praise on the band's social networking forums and messageboards.
The “Traitors Canada tour 2009” will run from April 24th until May 16th, during which time the band will bulldoze their familiar haunts across Newfoundland, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, and Quebec. Support will be provided by Galy Records artists The Last Felony, Vatican, and Point Blank Range (featuring current Neuraxis vocalist Alex Leblanc) on a chunk of dates, and Montreal death icons Cryptopsy and Martyr on others. The band will also share the stage with New York hardcore pioneers Madball in London, Ontario for a one-off.
Misery Index have proven themselves time and time again as a no drama, no frills politically-conscious death metal phenomenon whose force is difficult to rival. Their loyalty to Canadian soil is equally unmatched by their contemporaries. Get ready to break your neck headbanging when these traitors ride into to your town.

Artist: COPROFAGO
Title: UNORTHODOX CREATIVE CRITERIA
Label : GALY RECORDS
Catalog Number : GALY-038
Street Date : October 25th 2005
A mix of extreme metal and jazz fusion ! progressive tech thrash death metal
For Fans of Meshuggah, Cynic, Atheist, Martyr.
their flourishing jazz breaks make constant appearances. No band has been able to have such prominence in this kind of fusion since Cynic. Atheist were good, but Coprofago do it with so much ease that it's almost like jazz and metal drip from their amps. Meshuggah haven't even ventured into the ballsy breaks these guys pull off. The ambience and atmosphere behind it is awe-inspiring and completely addictive. - uraniummusic
Strong and heavy riffs in addition of really aggressive vocals, powerful drums with a lot of breaks, and above all technical solos with a lot of Jazz influences. That’s the recipe of Coprofago’s music and believe me it’s good. It’s original and fresh and this is one of the big surprises of the year. 8.5 - metalstorm.ee
Unorthodox Creative Criteria, oozes with the unbelievable talent this Chilean quartet brings to the listener. "The Inborn Mechanics" demonstrates Coprofago's expertise at turning turbulent metal chaos into laid-back contemporary jazz. Coprofago can find themselves included on the very prestigious list of musical pioneers who created the absolutely flawless fusion of two different genres. - decoymusic.com
there's no denying how skilled Coprofago are at their craft. This CD isn't completely original, but it's so fucking incredible to see a band create so much fusion that never fails to become boring or dull. It's like they've created some Fusion Theory, and put it into a brilliant natural practice. Pick this CD up at all costs. - uraniummusic
