Hey we ware back from tour, and just wanted to thank everyone who set up shows, gave us food and a place to stay and made this last tour probably the best tour we ever did, and dear 244gl and fluid : we love you.
In case you haven’t heard the rumours yet, it is true, we will split up. The reason for this is that we hated each other already from the very start and just formed the band to sell records and t-shirts. It didn’t work out so we finally can go our own ways again. Truth: no bad blood at all its just that two of us will go abroad for an indefinite time and we wouldn’t feel comfortable with replacing anyone permanently. However there will be one final show in eisenberg on the 22nd of march together with planks and the 244gl. hope to see you there!

Hi!
we just got back from recording, and are pretty excited to get the final version of the mix. Recording was really nice, even though it took us a bit longer than we actually thought, we recorded at die tonmeisterei with role and henner, aka meister and superohr, again so I am pretty sure the final result will be awesome. We recorded nine tracks, seven of them will see the day of light on a 12" that will be released by vendetta in february and the other two will be on a split 12" with Zann, Trainwreck and Ghostlimb, which will be released on Adagio830 in spring I guess.
We also plan to tour in February/March with Fluid/The 244 Gl, this is what it is supposed to look like, we still kind of need some shows, so if you can help out in one of the blank spots please don't hesitate to get in touch!

Guten abend!
Its 76 degree Fahrenheit outside which is by far the coolest it has been since we started, it has been around 95 humid degrees outside for basically all tour now and we are grateful for that nice change. Besides that the tour has been a bit rough to us, the Grand Rapids show and Minneapolis got canceled, which for the case of Minneapolis is kind of a lucky coincidence because we were supposed to play there when the bridge collided. Playing shows actually has been really fun most of the times even though we rarely got the money we actually need. Des Moines, Milwaukee, Louisville, Greenville and Richmond were really fun to play. I'd say Richmond was probably the best show so far even though we destroyed one of the bass cabinets there, and our van broke down the day before in Grayson, Kentucky which is basically in the middle of nowhere. We were driving from Louisville to Richmond through the night and about 3 am in the morning one of our front tires started vibrating and making weird sounds, we got off the highway at the next exit figured that we couldn't really continue driving any longer so we called AAA and got towed to the next garage. We spent 12 great hours in Grayson, Kentucky waiting for the van to get fixed and made it just on time to play the Richmond show. And yeah we also have nice crack in the windshield now which came out of nowhere. So this is basically the stuff that has happened in the last week, we will play Syracuse today, historical show for Perth Crisis!
See you on the road,
Steffen/Perth Express

ps. we got our return tickets back! Yes!

Category: Travel and Places
Hi!
We finally made it to the US which is great but the trip to get here did already cost us more nerves, time and money than we actually have. Right know we are on the way to Grand Rapids, Michigan to play our second show on this tour with Trap Them. At the moment everything seems cool, but 2 days ago we weren't sure if we even would make to states. Okay so here is what happened: Our flight was at 6:30 in the morning and going from Berlin via Milan to Chicago. We thought it would be a good idea to catch some sleep in Potsdam which is like 40 min. away from the airport in Berlin. We had two alarm clocks set and all of us slept in one room, so actually we were on the safe side. At least it's what we thought; I already knew we were in deep trouble when Enrico woke me up one hour before our flight was going. I don't know what happened but somehow four people managed it to overhear two alarm clocks. So we rushed out of our beds into the car and headed for the airport on maximum speed. We got there at 6:15, the plane was still there but there was no way for us to get on it. That was basically the worst that could happen. We were going through all the options and decided that staying in Europe wasn't really one but when a new ticket costs you about 1000 Euros you really have no other choice. After running from ticket office to ticket office and making thousands of phone calls we finally found pretty cheap one way tickets to Chicago via Copenhagen, we reassured with the airline that we can keep our return tickets, so everything was good. The mood was brightening up a lot again we hung out all day in Berlin and slept at the airport to make sure what we would catch the flight which was at 10 in the morning of July the 27th. We got on the plane to Copenhagen were we had a layer of three hours, without any problems and thought things were going well, until the girl from the travel agency called us .She told us that the airline (Alitalia btw., fuck those guys) canceled our return tickets. Bummer. So we were pretty much going through the same shit again. We tried to get in touch with the airline to get our tickets back or get new ones, but no one was at their service office and the people we called on the hotline just couldn't help us. We have to say that our travel agency is awesome though, they did everything they could make sure we would be okay, but it just didn't work out. We made it to Chicago without any troubles. But yeah here we are, on tour in the US pretty much broke or even in dept with no return tickets. We'll go to the airport tomorrow hoping that we can work something out. But besides all that shit, it's just great to be here. Dude Fest was awesome and everyone we met so far has been really cool. I hope we can post some pictures really soon but we haven't had real access to the internet so far. We'll keep you updated!
