Wishing Time Away...
As a young child you are always looking forward to your next birthday..
At the age of 6 your wishing that you could just be 8 so you have more freedom,
When you reach the age of 8 you can't seem to wait to be 10 that way you can walk to a friends house alone.
As you turn 10 your thinking of finally turning 13 so that you can wear makeup and get out of the young girl stage and wishing that you could just be 16 and be able to drive and date.
When turning 16, you now have your license and can go out and have a boyfriend but are still wishing you were a bit older for more independence at the age of 18.
Reaching another goal .. your 18 Welcome to the working world and having to pay all your own bills. All you can think about is turning 21 so that you can drink!!
You reached all your childhood dreams your now 21 and can go to the bars, just to find that all it does is get you in trouble.
After 21 your looking forward to finding love and happiness and hope on each Birthday you will find one or both.
I have found both after wishing away my childhood. At the age of 30 I can now see how special each year is and what milestones came along with each turning year. I know that for most 30 seems really hard, you have now lost your teens and twenty's but look at what you have to look forward too..
Kids growing so fast each-day seems to blend together and this just shows how much you are loved.
Wrinkles growing by leaps and bounds on your face and body, just shows that you have laughed and cried to get you where you are today.
I can't believe that I am 30!! I am Happy to be here, it may have been a long hard road at times but it just shows that I have made it !!! I have a wonderful family and some very close and dear friends at my side to love and laugh with. Thank You to all that have helped me get here and have shared in the memories!!!
