Finnish thrash metal pioneers NATIONAL NAPALM SYNDICATE have inked a deal with Violent Journey Records. The group's new album, "Devolution Of Species", is scheduled for release on April 22. A demo version of the track "Aching Hunger" is available for streaming on the band's MySpace page.

Commented NATIONAL NAPALM SYNDICATE guitarist Jukka Kyrö: "I am happy to have signed with Violent Journey Records.
I have seen first-hand how hard the label works for their artists. It's
refreshing these days to find a label that believes totally in the
power of great honest metal music. And besides, the owner of the label
was our first singer back in 1986! So he might have a idea what we are
all about."

The Finnish metallers National Napalm Syndicate have completed the mixing of their third studio album, entitled "Devolution Of The Species". The album was recorded at the Helgate Studio in their hometown Oulu and was mixed at Soundtrack Studios in Porvoo, Finland. Helming the sessions was producer Olli Kykkänen, who has previously worked with such bands as Peer Gunt and Los Bastardos Finlandes among others.

The follow-up to 2006's "Resurrection Of The Wicked", "Devolution Of The Species" features guest appearances by Timo Käsmä and Kepa Salmirinne of the legendary Finnish metal band Zero Nine.

The band have been negotiating with labels and it's going well, but nothing have been signed yet,

The recordings of the new National Napalm Syndicate album have been completed. The last vocal tracks were  finished today. We got new metal!! There will be some surprises for the NNS fans!

Ok, first of all, all the recordings for the new album are completed! Drums, bass, guitars, vocals, backing vocals, and even some keyboards are finished, Finally!!
Next we´ll start the editing process and do some test mixing and then we´ll mix the whole shit somewhere else (studio and place still unknown)....More news will updated soon, stay heavy and Happy New Year 2008!
