Another new dubstep label to Load – Dub Bullet Recordings first release comes courtesy of Rakoon.  The A side 'Warrior Dub' is a dark, dirty, hard hitter, featuring killer analogue synth stabs and the obligatory chest crushing sub bass.  The B side 'Barry' is more techy and ambient, but when it drops it still hits hard with its complex wobbling bassline and a snare that slaps you in the face.  Fans of the darker dubstep sound will love this 12"!

Naughty boy drops with crispy fried beats and synth stabs echoed for effect and matched with a big bad a heavy b-line, the flip is a more steppy affair as the beats take on a different format but it still has that typical nightwalker production technics. More techy dance floor business for this Australian imprint and believe me when I say this is the best release to date as part of bad robot crew Rregula steps up to the plate with his tech fueled slammers.

He teams up with Mastermynd to bring the track 'Invasion' which has big tune written all over it, similar to the Noisia sound. For the AA he brings one his own track 'Downtime' which will do some serious damage when dropped. Metallic beats and grinding synths ouze from the track whist the B-line lies constantly beneath driving the track forward.

NEM 011 – NEMISIS RECORDINGS – SILVER - DANCE LIKE PETE / IRONHAND

Silver comes with two tracks by himself for the 11^th release. With numerous hits as part as accidental heroes and hits done with sonic on virus and space recordings, he is now concentrating his efforts in to his own imprint.

Dance like Pete is his tribute to a guy that follows his sound and loves to dance! With skipping beats and a wobble to die for this is one for all jump up crew.

DRM001 – DREAMSOUND RECORDINGS – HUMAN FACTOR – I CANT SAY NO (FEAT EMMA BRAMMER) / WIND

Human Factor, who have had many releases on Horizons Music and Phuzion plus many others, have now decided it is time to start concentrating their efforts on their own label – Dreamsound Recordings.  They will be releasing their own tunes and some from Brazilian established and up and coming producers.  They have got five tracks on the number one position on DJ Patife's monthly top ten charts from April 2006 to present date, plus 9 other appearances, showing that these guys know how to knock the soulful edge off things.  Not only producers, they are also very talented DJ's, playing from Thursday to Saturday every week.  DJing is their main job – Tisso is resident on HotBeatz, the longest running Brazilian and soulful Drum and Bass night on Europe, Which has happened every Thursday since April 2004.  Atila is also a regular guest for HotBeatz.

'I Can't Say No' is a soulful little number which features the vocal talents of Emma Brammer.  Nice tight beats flow through the intro with ease.  Smooth piano chords mix effortlessly with the vocals and sweet sub bass to create a pure masterpiece.  The AA is more dancefloor, with driving beats and a sub bass that will blow your speaker.

Qumulus steps up to the plate once more on this label, with his trademark production skills.  Fans of the more uplifting liquid style will love both these tracks.  Sonar Sun, which features Pete Rann, has been getting DJ support from Nookie and also features on his 'Strictly Digital' mix.

INTA010 – INTASOUND RECORDINGS – NISKALA – DISSENT / DISSENT (DAN MIRACLE REMIX)

Baileys imprint 'Intasound' is back after a short break for the label, and boy what a 12" to come back with!  Niskala, who Bailey has been supporting now for some time, delivers an amen fueled dancefloor tearout track with a Dilinja style grinding bassline.  For the flip good friend Dan Miracle comes with the remix, and he comes down with his distinct take on the tune.  Huge beats and big basslines are the order of the day.

As valuable to his scene as the stone he shares his name with is in general, Safire steps up to supply both sides of climate recordings 2^nd single. Shadows is definitely for the dance floor, but at the same time certainly isn't too simple or straight forward. The nagging Reece bassline builds and layers of percussion are added to the mix as time passes. The percussion is more predominate and persuasive in the flipside which subsequently rolls almost relentlessly, and would if not for nifty drum switches throughout. A solid debut single form Safire.

DSM 004 – SPECTRASOUL – DOWNTOWN CHICAGO/THE WEAKNESS

More deep business from the deep soul music crew.  In a discernable change of direction from the emotive, deep sounds of their release on SGN:LTD, the A side presents a trademark incarnation of the devastatingly effective Spectrasoul formula; a bouncy track teeming with samples that work cohesively to create a deep sense of ambience, in turn narrated by a male vocal. An upbeat bassline runs underneath some playful percussion to finish setting the scene the track's title lends itself from; an accomplished track that's replete with imagery, we have a feeling you're gonna like this one. The flip represents an altogether more refined take on the Spectrasoul formula - an understated jazz piano lick works in tandem with quirky filtered bassline, carried along effortlessly by the addictive shuffle of the beats.

NU 12040 – MOSUS – HEAVIER THAN HEAVEN/WATER GATE

After the success of 12 on Nu Directions by Baby Origami, one half of Baby Origami, Mosus from V Recordings, brings two nice deep rollers.  The first of these is a true stepper.  Crispy beats and bad boy bass make this a true roller.  The AA has a slightly different feel.  Powerful kicks and snare are paired with heavy analog sub stabs as it comes down heavier than hell.

Having taken on this label from the ninth release.  Due to popular demand comes the repress and boy, Current Value supplies the ammunition.  Metallic sounding drums reign supreme, while heavily distorted basslines with a gritty edge aid this track to be a hard hitter from the word go.  The AA has a smooth melodic intro until the things take a turn to the nasty side. Sweet vocals provide contrast with the dark twisted amen breaks.  This track keeps the interest going when it switches to an electro 4/4 section before brutally releasing the destructive amen breaks.

TELLURIC 005 – PHYSICS – RELEASE YOUR SOUL/QUMULUS – BELIEVE IN YOU

The A side features nice smooth keys that flow effortlessly through the intro whilst backed by crispy rollin beats.  The track continues on the liquid tip, this is one for all the Bukem fans.  For the AA Qumulus brings his tight production in the style you've come to expect from him.  Nice tight drums, booming bass, and the odd vocal snippet all combine to bring this tune together and make it one for all the heads.

The A side kicks off with ambient synths and a crisp choppy hi hat pattern which is carried with the aid of a sweet female vocal.  From the drop the tune follows a typically electro feel with other obvious musical influences.  The AA side is more of the same, if you are into your electro then you will love this cut.
