dead.circuit, among other great and well respected artists, makes an appearance on the new compilation of the highly successful 'New Aeon Symbols' series; Sex Magick: New Aeon Symbols VI.

Very good second review of 'Comatose Working Institution' by Gothtronic:
Starting with a dark and spacious swelling drone Dead. Circuit takes you into the fields of dark cinematic industrial music. Dead. Circuit is a project by a Dutch guy named Fabian, also writing reviews for this E-zine. Although I have met some people over the years writing for Gothtronic I have never met this fellow so I can write without prejudice and make an objective review about this second release Comatose Working Institution.
However the packaging looks very amateurish the music- And that is what is it is all about- sounds very professional and could easily been released on Cold Spring for example. “Phase 1: Morbid dreams” starts calm with a hypnotic stretched tone but grows to dense oppressive atmospheres with a disturbing cold pulse and later on thick layers of distortion. The sound now is massive towards power electronics. “Phase 2: Death of a salesman” is towards death industrial like Megeptera with harsh slow pounding punishing beats. Various disturbing sounds and spoken word samples are making this into a claustrophobic experience and sounds very tasteful. Last track “Phase 3: ComAwake” has a melodic synth loop that may come from the Exorcist. Together with a reverberating pulse this loop is building great tense. Towards the end this track becomes more rhythmic while the volume grows louder.
Comatose Working Institution is not very original but that seems no problem to me because Dead. Circuit sounds very well with interesting sound structures of rhythmic distortion, melody and dark atmospheres. 7.5/10 - Remco

The very first review of my new album 'Comatose Working Institution' by Roy from Gangleri:
What a nice surprice, a new Dead.Circuit cd fell on the doorstep today!
Limited to only 97 copies comes this 26 minutes cdr with 3 tracks that
the label describes with the very nice term “cinematic noisescapes”.
Inspite of the variety of styles that this Dutch project uses on its
flyers, the sound of this “industrial tribute to the routine of working
class society” has the style of the previous release that I reviewed.
This is great, since Dead.Circuit knows how to make dark noisescapes.
This is not a piece of chaotic noise, but nicely structured, with many
samples, just think about Propergol or Sistrenatus and about as good as
these two too! I hope a label like Hermetique will pick up this project
soon.
4 out of 5 stars!

I don't spend much time looking for projects that I do not know, but I am glad that I ran into this Dutch project. Dead.Circuit does not mind much about keeping one style, but on "Repressed Memory Therapy" the style is dark noisy soundscapes with total noise moments. The sound reminds quite a bit of Propergol at times (a bit too much sometimes), which is a good thing since Propergol has not released much recently and his sound seems to become less extreme. The people who like the older works of Propergol should definately try to get one of the 97 copies of this Dead.Circuit album. "Repressed Memory Therapy" might not always be as good as Propergol or Sistrenatus, but our Dutchman surely knows how to create a dark and filthy atmosphere with echoing film samples, distorted/noisy edges and here and there going completely loose with an almost power electronics track. Of course it is also a debut and small release, so who knows what the future will bring. A cheap 70 minutes album for lovers of "noisescapes". <3.5 out of 5>
