hey everyone
about a few days ago i was notified in a email that i've been placed as a finalist in the mountain stage newsong contest in the young artist category. i will perform in atlanta, georgia at eddie's attic on august 24th @ 7:00pm. if i win i will move on to internationals : )

"Adam has won first place in the Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contest in the Young Artist (under 21) category. The Songwriters' Association of Washington presents the 24th Annual Mid-Atlantic Song Contest to help songwriters receive recognition for their work and to further excellence in songwriting through educational programs. Adam's song "I Can't Bear will be featured on a compilation CD along with winners in other categories.

The Awards Ceremony will be on Sunday December 2 at 7:30 at Jammin' Java in Vienna. Adam will be performing "I Can't Bear" with a full band. Other songwriters who have won in their category will be performing that night as well."
