Just wanted to drop you all a line about something really cool.

If you want to hear Christmas songs by Trevor, Paul, and Alyssa's other band Feathe, head over to http://volumeone.org/XmasTunes and download/listen for free! Its a pretty good little holiday treat before we hibernate in the studio for the next record!

Hello everyone!
This post has been a very long time coming. Or a month, I guess. Anways! We have news! We are going to be recording for our next record (Currently titled "Something Like Blood") this coming January! We will be doing drums at the McNally Smith College of Music (which is where we recorded the EP) in early January and then moving out to a studio in Fall Creek Wisconsin to do everything else! We are really amped up to get the new songs out to you all! We are working with Brian and Zach from Laarks on this so it should be HIP AS SHIT!

In other news, we have a few shows lined up before we head in to the studio and have Christmas and play with all our toys and things we get for a really long time. The first is December 5th at Beaners Central with We are the Willows! Who are our lable mates and dear dear friends! We will also be playing our final show for a really long time in Eau Claire on December 31st. It is 21+ and will be at the House Of Rock! This show will be very special because we will be retiring some of our old songs. So, like, we will never play them again. Like Dreamcast! So yeah, come and get it before you cant no mo.

That is all for now! It would be awesome to see everyone out to these last shows! Get good Xmas shwag.

Hello all!

Its been quite some time! We now have some new news for your noggin! Sheesh!

OK.

First point of interest:
We will be playing a very awesome show on November 20th. It is for our dear friend Peter Miller's CD release show for his band, We Are The Willows! This show will also feature Alyssa's other project Feathe, and will be Meridene's last show in the Eau Claire area in 2009. So, it will be your last chance to see us try some of the new songs live before the studio and will be your only chance to get CLEARANCE SALE PRICES on our merch! So, if you can, catch New Moon on an afternoon show,  and come see us in the evening!

Second Point of interest:
We will be starting the recording part of our second full length record this coming January. We are currently calling it "Something Like Blood". I think that we are growing in leaps and bounds writing wise, and this record could be the one that people will, uh, like. We will keep you posted when and where this stuff will be going down. For now, we are having Brian Moen (Laarks) and Zach Hanson (Hanson) produce/record the thing. So it should be AWESOME!

Third Point of interest:
Listen to David Bazan's Curse Your Branches (Album of the Year)
Watch Glee and Dollhouse, because otherwise Fox will cancel them
Read House of Leaves, you know, if you haven't already.

That is ALL
See you soon!

............................

Hello all!

.. ..

Just wanted to bring you up to date on a few things!

.. ..

Thing #1-

We are playing our last show for quite some time on September 18th. It is in Madison and it a part of the Forward Music Festival! We are having an Amble Down Showcase and we would love to see everyone there! The lineup is pretty much everyone on the ADR roster, and should be filled with surprises and things of interest and much merriment! For more info about the festival check out this link (http://www.fmf09.com)

.. ..

Thing #2-

We are a part of a very special video shoot coming up this Sunday. It is at the state theater and will feature some of the best bands from the EC area. Its going to be shot in a Austin City Limits style with some really fancy camera stuff, and is completely free! Our set time is at 2 o’clock on Sunday but feel free to come anytime to support the other bands, such as Laarks! (such as the Iraq and the Iran, such as). For more info on that check out this link (http://...com/mwxodg)

.. ..

Thing #3-

We have made the demos for what will become our next full length album. We are going to be working hard on  polishing up the rough takes and then hopefully go into the studio over Christmas break. I think that the songs are some of the best I’ve ever written, and I hope you will too. So, we wont be playing any shows for the next few months (unless Rilo Kiley tours and asks us to open, or something equally awesome happens.) So keep your eye on the myspace for more updates

Love You,

T4

Hey all!
Just wanted to drop a line here. We have some great shows coming up in August and September, and we would love to see everyone there! Because following the few shows we have listed we are going to go into practice mode for the next album. So, only very special and important shows will be added. So come catch us before summer is done, we may play a new song or two for ya as well.
Salute!
T4
(ps, i got glasses and Paul says we are about 30 times more indie now. I really doubt that)

Hello Lovelys,
T Carl here to spread some new words for you. First off, our 30 minute music hour aired today at 10 Oclock central standard time. We have a freakin huge TV at my house and seeing my head that large (as well as my beard, tear) made me feel a little strange. Still, if you missed it and want to see my giant head, its up for streaming on Wisconsin public TV's website.

In other news, we have started to work out some of the songs for the next record. They are pretty awesome and are the best songs we have created as a band. Looks like Brian Moen of Laarks is going to help produce this little guy. So far its all about how the economy scares the hell out of me. We will be keeping the tracks pretty close to our chest this time, only playing them out once or twice before the album is out, you know, to build anticipation. Thats all for now. Come to our shows please.

xoxo,

T Carl Ives

Hey everybody!
We went down to capital city (Madison) yesterday and did a shoot for the 30 minute music hour! It was pretty cool. Cameras and things make me alittle shaky but i think it turned out nice. You can stream it here:http://www.wpt.org/wisconsinchannel/30MMH204_meridene.cfm
