i just returned home last night after six weeks of touring around ten countries in Europe. i wanted to say thank you to all of the beautiful people who came to the shows, all of the promoters and venues that took care of us, people who posted videos and photos, and to our label Gizeh for putting something so amazing together. this tour has been the highlight of the trespassers experience for me, and i will always remember it.

we had such a good time that we will definitely be back next year, after we've recorded our new album. much love to everyone.

we are landed in europe and enjoying a few days in leeds before heading to scotland for the first couple of shows of our five week tour.

the calendar has been updated over the last week and includes all of our dates unless we add a few house shows in spain...

so i'm flying to Texas at the end of this week to mix the album i'm making with Robert Gomez (the project is called Ormonde). while there, i'll be playing one show at Dan's Silverleaf in Denton on Sept 5. Robert will play a set, i'll play a solo set, and then we'll debut some of the new Ormonde songs. see you there.

Our venue in Cardiff for October 9 has moved to CLWB Ifor Bach. Hope this doesn't inconvenience anyone.

And our friends in Telekaster will be joining us at the NBI Club in Berlin on Novemeber 1, so that should be a good one.

a few changes to the calendar... unfortunately we will not be playing Nectar in Seattle on Sept 2, due to a change in plans. also, our Bristol show is canceled, but we will hopefully be setting up a replacement show there with Minotaur Shock and Glissando.

however, there is a new date in Prague in November. also, if you're in the Seattle area, i (Anna-Lynne) will be playing a few songs as Lotte Kestner at Neptune in the Greenwood area, to support a book reading going on. never played a Lotte Kestner set before... that is on August 4 at 7pm.

a second London show has been added a month later, at the very tail end of our tour, as the first one at Wilmington Arms is sold out.

Matt & I have been busy preparing for our first tour in quite some time, and our first in half a decade as a two-piece band. we'll be playing the west coast in July, and then playing a number of countries in Europe in the fall (see the calendar!). Spanish dates will be added soon. happily, we'll be joined by different friends at the upcoming shows: Robert Gomez, Minotaur Shock, Glissando, Robert Deeble, Klum, etc...

we're also writing the new Trespassers William album, which is in exciting stages right now. and i've basically finished the album for my collaboration with Robert Gomez: Ormonde. we'll be mixing that in Texas in August (Ormonde has a MySpace page featuring 4 of the songs, and drumming by McKenzie of Midlake.)

in the past few months i've added several covers that i've recorded at home to my solo page. right now the ones featured are "Harmless Sparks" by David Bazan, "Stolen" by the Bleachers, and "Let's Go to Bed" by the Cure.
