Hello.

Back from NYC and what an eventful time it was...

Lets see..

On Tuesday the entire NYC police force blocked 35th St bt 6th n 7th for god knows what, later that evening I was walking past a something commerce bank in the meat packing district that just got robbed authorities were doing interviews with employees and customers as the paparazzi was shooting away..at first I thought someone famous was inside just getting out money or something...random..

Then Wednesday night after a great dinner with one of my best girlfriends, I was getting out of a cab and lost my Card Holder with my CC, ID and cash from that evening..when I had a 6:15am flight hours away...

Not quite done yet...

Get to the airport Thursday morning after filing a lost item report to the NYC 17th prescient..was well entertained by the walks of life that came into the station while I was waiting to see the officer to take my information while being hit on by NYC's "FINEST" police officers...

Get to the airport and show security that I lost my info and life on a piece of paper that has the breakfast order of the reporting officer on the back of it...hang out for a few hours til my plane boards..

Lastly..on plane and great smooth ride in the express jet with not even 30 total people on board...came into Pittsburgh and was ready to land...until we came barreling down roughly enough that I wanted to puke from descend to sudden ascending! The turbulence was so bad amongst the zero visibility all you saw was white white white..then the earth...sticks brush and stumps! No f-in runway!! Luckily enough the pilot was able to pull up and abort the landing so we didn't crash...

Enough..we ended up landing over at the airforce base due to no visibility on the south runway which was the only runway open for the entire airport...3 hours later, the snow squalls and wind let up and I am safe at home...

How in the world is anyone supposed to look good in this city with DOOR MEN blinded by fashion...oh wait, they have a flashlight and wear all black...hmm..let me think how to say this nicely...

WTF are you thinking???

We are in a city with the most confused dress code system...no names on shirts...no holes in jeans....no limited edition sneaks or diesel, Perelli, nor boots that some guys break their wallets for...

Get real people..NO this is not New YorkNO this is not Cali...no shit sherlocks..because if you (yes doormen) tried to get into any of the nightlife in those 2 cities or in any other cities you would be denied period!! Because your an "idiot" from Pittsburgh that keeps discriminating against the person trying to get into the establishment.

You do not have a clue as to who they are, what they do, you judge them on race, or just  preception!

Wake up all of you before it gets ugly...and lawsuites start to fly because your going to piss off the wrong person...

Torque Denim?? Where does it come from??

Well no I don't ever call myself a genious nor do I ever compliment myself, well unless I out do my wit..which dosent happen too often..but anyway..everyone always ask's what does Toruqe (Denim) mean?

Well the obvious... Torque means to twist and to turn right? Thats what websters dictionary says at least. Well it does relate to denim in a quirky but obvious way.  Most denim designers have complimented me on the name becuase they are the only people who ever get it.

So if you really care here it is:

When denim fabric is in development process (being woven), it is constructed by looms, weaving machines, and twisting patterns.  There is an S-twist, a Z-twist, and a basket weave.  All of which I have total definitions for if anyone cares, just email me.

Hence the history behind the name "Torque Denim".
