I just talked to Silas and Scoop on the phone (we are doing a joint project).  When I talk to Silas I like the way things go, when I don't, We (me and Dame) have no clue as to wtf is going on. 

Silas informed me that dudes are buying the mixtape shit TA and Scoop did which is good.  Apparently they have a hot club song in the streets called I'll Do It To U.  When I get it will be posted.  Other than that........

TaylrMayd is supposedly going to be making his own myspace page.  I don't know how but he claims he will get it done.

It's been a real emotional month for DWI.  A friend of the company was murdered recently and his funeral was the other day.  It occured to me that as long as cats feel desperate, trapped, or envious life ain't promised. 

TA has been MIA as usual.  But it's a little different this time.  Apparently he recorded a hot song that cats are really gigging to.  The problem with that is that there is no CD to sell for this hot song.  So instead of waiting to put the damn song out, he wants to get it played in the club and radio.  Which will probably happen.  Then we won't make a f*cking dime cause we don't have shit to sell, as usual

TaylrMayd been doing his thang with the shows but he says they are really time consuming to do and it has become quite demanding.  I told that dude to be easy, but he hard-headed.

Dame and I are still trying to get together to drop 2 different projects (3 if TA does a solo joint).  Time is the issue.  I may have time after this week but can we get everyone we want on the project in that time span.  That's the challenge

Well, let me update everybody on what's been poppin in the word of DistilleryWorks.....

Went to the 2nd Annual Mississippi HipHop Conference, which both inspired me and pissed me off at the same time.

TA was supposed perform at the damn conference and didn't make it to do the damn thing.  There were plenty of reasons but none of them were really good.  So that pissed me off.

I was inspired by all the other artists and people who were able to attend the conference.  There were a lot of good artists and I made some really good contacts.

I met Charlie Braxton and Donnie Cross.  A legend and hot up and coming artist.  I also got a chance to meet Scar from Purple Ribbon Entertainment.  TaylrMayd even got a chance to interview them for his show on Chroniccast.com.

TA is still working on this project with a cat named Scoop and we are still backing it. 

Other than everythang else been crazy as usual.

I have been on vacation and now I'm back ready to roll. 

My people over on the Chronic Cast Network (CCN) have been going back and forth with the whole Trashman situation (he's a CCN host).  It has finally been resolved as of May 16, now we can get back to business.  Hit us up at www.chroniccast.com..

Distilleyworks is in the process of negotiating a new project that will feature TA.  It is tentatively a group album (think Boyz N The Hood) with some cats from The C (Centreville, Mississippi).  It looks as if its going to be TA, Scoop, L-Cigga, Tha Drama Brannger, Hollywood, Silas, and Daye Layne.  It could possibly include Dirty Blakk, George, and Ja Te.  It's not final but we'll see.

The test for this project going forward will be if everybody makes it to the a concert event we are scheduled to perform on June 24th at the Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, Mississippi.

Well just found out that TA has been to jail twice this month.  Although this doesn't really make a difference with the music and what not.  I am kind of worried about what he is going to get into next.
