The Bluff Magazine Player of the Year is awarded to the poker player who has the best results over the course of an entire calendar year. Points are awarded for each tournament finish based on the tournament buy-in and the size of the field. Previous winners include Phil Ivey, Chad Brown and reigning Player of the Year John Phan.
“LUGZ is very excited to be sponsoring Bluff Magazine’s Player of the Year Program. The bike was built in 2006 by Orange County Choppers and was revealed to the world during episodes of Discovery Channel’s American Chopper. Michael Binger currently leads the 2009 POY race but Bertrand Grospellier, Jeff Madsen and Scotty Nguyen are all in contention.

concept designed to put the world’s best online poker players to the test.....

The competition will bring together
some of the best online poker players and each will be given an opportunity to
build a bankroll playing multi-table tournaments and sit-n-gos exclusively on
Lock Poker. Each player starts with $200 and has 30 days to build their
bankroll. The player who shows the greatest return will be featured on the
cover of an upcoming issue of BLUFF Magazine.....

“We wanted to find a way to
recognize the best players online and give them a real challenge,” said Eric

The challenge begins March 1st and

Bluff Magazine, in conjunction with Players Investment Company (PICClub.com), is proud to announce the schedule for the Bluff Poker Tour (BPT), a series of online poker tournament modeled after the World Poker Tour, for 2008-09.

The BPT is a series of online poker tournaments giving players the opportunity to not only win cash but also win their share of over $10,000 worth of great prizes from BPT sponsors along the way. Some of the online poker rooms on the schedule for 2008-09 include DoylesRoom.com, PitbullPoker.com, TruePoker.com and ReeferPoker.com.

Bluff Media, publishers of America's leading poker magazine Bluff Magazine, today announced the purchase of the print component of Woman Poker Player magazine.

 "Woman Poker Player magazine was founded as a vehicle for the encouragement of women to play poker. At that time women were only representing about ten percent of live players, and this is no longer the case," said Maryann Morrison, publisher of Woman Poker Player. "We all know women are fierce poker players and have substantially grown in numbers over the past two years. It is not a progressive step for women to have segregation of any kind."

World Series of Poker Radio available on over 200 Stations




Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. today announced the launch of World Series of Poker(R) Radio, the official weekly radio show of the World Series of Poker Presented by Milwaukee's Best Light.

WSOP Radio is produced by Bluff Media and is available to more than 200 stations of the Sports Byline Radio Network. The broadcasts can be heard every Monday from 8 p.m. Eastern Time to 10 p.m. Eastern.

"World Series of Poker Radio is the latest addition to our broadcasting and new media portfolio and opens up a new way for us to connect with our fans and players," said WSOP Commissioner Jeffrey Pollack. "We're now 'on the air' every week with the biggest names in the game, news from the WSOP and insights from top poker analysts."
