Hey Folks,

We've been getting a ton of emails about the Brooklyn Bowl show being sold out. Sorry to hear that a lot of you did not get tickets in time. Hey Folks
Just a quick note from the studio to let you know that tomorrow, Wednesday August 5th, Live Nation will be selling tickets to both of our TLA shows for NO SERVICE CHARGE!! We try to keep our ticket prices low but this service charge business is something we have no control over and a lot of times the charges are fully ridiculous so we're happy to at least be able to tell you that for this one day you don't have to pay any.

The shows are October 23 and 24 at the Theater of the Living Arts in Philadelphia. Below are links to take part in this promotion beginning Wednesday August 5th at MIDNIGHT (that in a few hours) and running the whole day tomorrow. Included on the ticketing page you will find an option to save more money if you wanna buy tickets to both shows.

For Tickets to Friday October 23rd:  http://www.livenation.com/edp/eventId/410565
For Tickets to Saturday October 24th:  http://www.livenation.com/edp/eventId/410566

Thanks all.. see you soon

Hey Folks,
We're a few weeks away from getting back into the studio full time to make a record, which means you may not hear from us for a bit, so before we get in there we wanted to let you know about a pretty awesome fall tour we have lined up. There are a few festival stops and a get together with some of the Rebirth Brass Band in New Orleans to speak of, not to mention that our friend Jeffery Lewis will support just about all the dates. This tour just about wraps up our year so we hope you can make it out. Tickets for all shows are on sale this Friday July 10th. All dates below.

In 1866 Fredrick Olmsted and Calvert Vaux began building Prospect Park in Brooklyn NY. The park is home to the largest meadow in any U.S. park, Brooklyn's only lake (and Brooklyn's only paddle boats), a wealth of summer time shade, bbq pits, seven baseball fields and arguably the best outdoor music venue in New York City. On June 27th, to commemorate the park's 143rd anniversary, we're going to play there for FREE.

We've been holed up in the studio for a few weeks now and we feel it is time to leave the tape reels at home, break out the gold bond, and play LIVE. In front of PEOPLE. People like YOU. We're bringing along some friends of ours (who happen to be better than us at playing cello, and trombone and such) and we're trying to figure out how to procure a few hundred thousand christmas trees.

For better or for worse, this is the last time we're gonna make it to the Big Apple this year so come writhe around like the worms that you are.

Gates open at 6pm. These United States and Phosphorescent open the show so get there early!

FREE, ALL AGES, 6PM GATES

Hello everyone,

There is a band called Floating Action. Last year this band made an album in Asheville, NC.  They mixed this album at our studio in Philadelphia.  Two days ago this album was officially physically released by Park the Van records.

You’ve had two days to hem and haw; now it’s time to show some initiative.  We’ve lived with this album in our van and ears for months now and we can assuredly say it’s an utter classic.  We wouldn’t be so adamant if we didn’t think you could benefit from having Floating Action in your life.  Trust us brothers and sisters: you can.  Keep a copy at home, put one in your car, put it on your electronic devices and head out into the world and trust us again: once you’re out there having this one really helps.

Thanks,
Dr. Dog

Friends-

There's been a lot of rumors about a secret Dr. Dog show tonight in LA at Spaceland. Unfortunately, these rumors are not true. Apologies if you have been led to believe otherwise, but there will not be a Dr. Dog show tonight in LA. If you had already bought tickets for tonight under the impression that DD was playing, please email Brian at brian@foundationsmusic.com. And please check our website (www.drdogmusic.com) for the most up to date tour information.

Greetings to all bosses and bullhorners, interns and internettes, bram stokers, stockbrokers, cellphoners and selfowners,

It just turned spring as it sometimes does around this time of year, and philadelphia is a burrito glistening with the dew of a new morning. we recently dusted off the trusty old Tascam 388 that we made easybeat on and we've been cooking up some new songs at our studio Meth Beach, trying to kick the cold 6 or 7 months down the road. its working, too! we'll keep you abreast of any new music that is afoot. now give yourselves a hand.

We're getting ready to tour through the US and canada for pretty much all of april. we've poured gasoline in the atlas, reinforced the van with duct tape, and we're coming to a theater near you, so check out the tour dates below and come say hi.

Before we hit the road we're gonna give this new late night show a try. On Thursday April 2nd we'll be performing on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and we'd like to extend a cordial invitation to any fans in the big apple area to pull up your pants and come out to the taping. As you might imagine seats are highly limited so they make it a contest where you essentially win seats, right next to the stage we play on. If you want to enter to win go to here and enter DRD in the entry form.
They'll let you know if you get in

Also, a little while back we were living in a parking lot in Athens, GA, and unbeknownst to us, we were filmed by some guys who work under the name Eikonic. We played FROM and FATE brokedown acoustic style, and they filmed it in ADHD. High quality, more realistic than real life! You can check out and check it out here and here.

Yours Truly,
DR. DOG
