The THUNDRAH The City Swallows the Sparrow EP is now available on CD! You can order it direct from our website or get it from the band themselves on their upcoming tour. It should be in your favorite local record shop next week. if not get them to order it!

The 12" version is still available and now comes in a NEW COVER. Original cover was orange, pink,and blue ink on blue paper. The new covers are green, yellow, and pink ink on red paper.

The band also begins their tour today!

Its been awhile sinc eour last news update. Here's some stuff happening that might be of interest:

1) MORE ARCADE FIRE TICKETS TO GO ON SALE!
Due to an increase in the approved capacity of the Arena Maurice Richard for these events, we are happy to announce that a limited number of additional tickets will be made available for The Arcade Fire?s performances in Montreal on May 12 and 13. These tickets will go on sale on Monday, May 7 at 10:00 AM EDT through Admission.com.

3) NEW DIRTY TRICKS CD OUT SOON!
The first full length CD from DIRTY TRICKS, Sauve Qui Peut!, will be out late May. MP3s now up on our myspace. They will also be touring with The Sainte Catherines and Fifth Hour Hero in May. Dates here: www.myspace.com/dirtytricks

2) ONLINE TICKET BUYERS - PLEASE READ!!!!!
Any tickets bought on our site will NOT be mailed to you but instead will be kept on a list at the door of the show. Please come with a piece of photo ID or your paypal receipt and you will be able to get your tickets.

At long last the new Blue Skies Turn Black website is finally up!

The big change is that we have finally added a online store. You will need a paypal account to use it. The store will allow you to:
- buy tickets for shows at these venues: La Sala Rossa, Casa Del Popolo, Main Hall, Green Room, Club Lambi.

- buy Blue Skies Turn Black records.

- PLEASE NOTE: Venues that already sell tickets online (ex: La Tulipe, Spectrum, etc) will not be able through our site. You will be able to buy tickets from them as usual through their respective sites.

In other news we are proud to announce that we will be partnering up with Andre from Mandatory Moustache. Mandatory Moustache has been producing some great shows over the last few years and we are excited to have Andre onboard. Its our hope that Andre can pump some new blood into this machine.

Ok so we don't exactly update our myspace too often. Today feels like a good time to let you all knowing whats going on around here.
So the big news of the week is we are co-producing 5 Arcade Fire shows with Pop Montreal february 6-10 at the Ukrainian Federation.
Answers to Questions:
Yes tickets are going on sale tomorrow December 13 at 9:00am.
yes tickets are $25.00.
Yes there is a limit of 2 per customer.

Yes we are holding tickets for the night of the shows.

In other news our new website is pretty much done. We jsut got a few tweaks her and there and it will be up soon.

2006 may almsot be over but we are already looking ahead to 2007. We already have a ton of great shows announced with more in the works. You can see whats going on by looknig at our show section.

Thundra Bio:

Thundra is a rock band formed in early two-thousand and five, emerging out of the Mile End area of Montréal, Québec, Canada. Self-described as an acid trip at a gay dance club playing in half time, Thundra is devoted to the understanding and interpretation of their surroundings. In order to continue a constant, tactile, and present relationship with the music they create, they have been heavily involved in each and every aspect of their debut EP, "La Cité Swallows the Sparrow." Recorded by their friend Efrim in the dead of winter at the mighty Hotel2tango, and to be released by their friends and comrades at Blue Skies Turn Black in late July two-thousand and six, the record is a four-song representation of numerous aspects of the band, and captures the underlying sense of urgency in their music.
