We put new seats in the van and this has greatly improved our comfort, mostly. When I am the driver my feet don't touch the ground and I push the gas petal as if I am wearing high heels. As a girl I often had dreams about driving, either I would be sitting in a car and it starts to drive so I have to figure out how to steer and brake or I need to learn how to drive real fast in a get away sort of situation. Anyway it made me feel small and childlike to drive for several hours without my feet touching the ground and I hadn't thought of those dreams for awhile. Funny how our anxiety dreams change year to year.

Last night we camped outside of Jacksonville, IL where we played at the Noir Art Emporium. The crowd was small but incredibly generous. I would definitely recommend this venue as an awesome place to play in place that is surrounded by corn, you know what I mean? Corn, the more I learn about it the less I want to know ☹

Chicagoland. Where the taxes are SO high thus paying for a highly functional and nice looking city with glorious free things to do and see but, somehow, the roads leading to it are so poorly laid out that every toll entrance and exit is a mind numbing cluster fuck. A small price to pay however.

Our show at the Reversible Eye held up to my highest of hopes. I'd been jamming to Loto Ball Show online for weeks. The music is huge with a strong foundation of punk taken to circus side show orchestra limits with a (suedo) hip hop style hype man. Support of this nature is needed to complement the likes of Loto Ball Show. A man with a commanding stage presence part tent show revivalist part military drill sergeant. This band rules is what I'm trying to say.

Our set went over well with the crowd and we even got some hugs. We definitely look forward to hanging out with these people and playing some more music. Check it out for realz

BIG thanks to Ben for the company, sleep and blango!

This was the case in Madison for sure. The Nottingham Coop is lakeside and mad blanging and by this I mean a gorgeous brick and poured concrete mansion, in fact according to dude, it was the first poured concrete building in the country. Grimes was nice enough to set us up with some food and crash zone. The crowd was very kind, good looking and even danced some (yay!).

We played with Zebras. Have you heard this band yet? They rocked us so hard.

SO hard.

We started all over again.. we're retracking the EP on our new studio equipment. The old stuff just didn't do it justice. We're still releasing it at the end of May, so we have our work cut out for us. The company will prevail. Keep your antenna tuned for more updates as we get ourselves and our music ready to head east on a delightful jaunt along the eastern seaboard.
