Sergie and Garrett and this other fella John were just in Europe playing semi simple acoustic versions of texas is the reason, solea and new songs. Oh yeah, we called the band, Atlantic/Pacific. Anyway, we're home...hobbled over the pond safely. Getting used to not being on a fridged european holiday. Maybe a bit sad...

if you are into a more mellow fare also, sergie and garrett from Solea have joined up with House & Parrish singer, John Herguth to do an acoustic-y little band called Atlantic/Pacific. We are going to europe in december...please be our friend.

Remember how we made a second record a few years back? it was called, 'Finally We Are Nowhere' and it came out in sept 06 in japan and the worlds' itunes stores...but never anywhere else. seems unlikely you'll see a north american release (except for sale at www.momibello.com)...but on Oct. 4th, that shit will be in europe on Arctic Rodeo Recordings (home of House & Parrish, New Amsterdams, Ian Love, Able Baker Fox etc...). We are really happy about that it's, ahem, 'finally,' coming out. (couldn't resist...)

the vinyl will be really snazzy color too.

speaking of sergie, he and garrett (of texas is the reason and solea) have a new semi-acoustic thing going with their pal John Herguth (recently the singer of House & Parrish). they are recording in early august for what will most likely be music to give away as free download and cheap 7"s. plans for a short german 'tour' where they will be playing these and solea/texas/samiam/H&P songs, in december are being sorted out maybe we'll press some 'tour CDs'. you have to have a name, so it's called, 'AtlanticPacific'...not necessarily because they live on seperate coasts but because that's the name of the train stop near garretts house.
