Well, its time to face the cold hard truth. Robotronica is no more. No more in the sense that we will not be playing live shows ever again. With Tom moving on in his jounalism career, and me starting my guard career and finishing school in another state, Robotronica just cannot continue to pretend like it was going to work. I speak for both of us when I say it was a fun ride. We were like any other band. We had car problems, got in fights over trivial stuff, ate lots of pizza, drove way to far to play just one show, and stayed best of friends through everything. Thank you all for your love and support. We wish we could make it work but I don’t want to play Robotroncia with anyone but Tom. And where I live in Utah isn’t exactly booming with talent. Keep in touch with us. I put links to our personal pages on Robotronicas page. Never let the music in your heart die. We love you all!

I thought I'd share some of the builds I use for my characters. I found some of these online @ GuildWiki and PvXwiki, however I've modified them to my liking. Plus I only have 185 out of 200 attribute points so they arnt as powerful as they could be, but the build is the same anyhow. Ele/Monk- Earth Farming Build:Skills: Stone Daggers: Earth Magic Crystal Wave: Earth Magic Armor of Earth: Earth Magic Kinetic Armor: Earth Magic Earth or Elemental Attunement: Earth Magic Aura Restoration: Energy Storage Balthazar's Spirit: Smiting Prayers Eruption: Earth Magic
Notes: This build is good for farming melee enimies
Keep up Kinetic Armor at all costs. When combined with Armor of Earth and max armor you will have over 200 armor! Stone Daggers can help keep that in play.
Pay attention to Aura Restoration, Elemental Attunement, and Armor of Earth. You'll need to recast these every minute.
If things get dicey use Eruption and run away to heal. Just make sure you have enough to cast it since it cost 25 mana.
Template Code: OgNDkMvOBsea2laq80SK Ele/Mes- Earth/Air Echo Build:Skills: Whirlwind: Air Magic Crystal Wave: Earth Magic Armor of Earth: Earth Magic Kinetic Armor: Earth Magic Earth or Elemental Attunement: Earth Magic Aura Restoration: Energy Storage Arcane Echo: Non-Attribute Mesmer Aftershock: Earth MagicNotes:When going out with a good monk that knows their stuff, you wont need as much armor. In that case I often replace Armor of Earth with Ward Against Melee. That can be said for almost any of my Elementalist builds.
Template Code: OgVDgUy8CmC7oum9S0SK
Ele/Mes- Fire Echo Builds Skills: Glyph of Immolation: Fire Magic Flare: Fire Magic Fireball: Fire Magic Glyph of Lesser Energy: Energy Storage Fire or Elemental Attunement: Fire Magic Aura Restoration: Energy Storage Rodgort's Invocation: Fire Magic Arcane Echo: Non-Attribute Mesmer Notes: I'm a closet pyro, so this build gets me excited. Its very close to my echo nuker build, which I also LOVE. For the Echo nuker build replace Glyph of Immolation with Echo, and replace Flare with Meteor Shower. In most cases, going out with a group I replace Glyph of Lesser Energy with Resurrection Signet. The purpose of this build is to echo chain your heavy hitting fire spells. To echo a spell - Cast Echo.
- Cast the spell you wish to copy (Echo becomes that spell). Personally I would cast Rodgort's Invocation or Meteor Shower.
- Cast Arcane Echo.
- Use the copy of the spell stored in Echo. (You have now cast the desired spell for the second time, and Arcane Echo will become a copy of the spell.)
- Finally, cast the copy stored in Arcane Echo. (By this time, it is possible that the original spell may have even recharged, allowing you to use it a fourth time!

Our friends! Robotronica wants to thank you for such an amazing year! 2007 was the year that this band really bloomed and blosomed. We can't thank you enough for all the support we've recieved in such a short period of time. This last year held a lot of good times that we will not soon forget. Robotronica went on its first tour and made many new friends. We released our first full length and we're supprised to see so many people actually wanted it. ^_^ We played a show in californica in front of 10 people and got paid a crapload of money for it. And then there was the local shows. OH< MY< GOODNESS!!!! YOU, our fans, mean so much to us, and even though Robotronica is on hiatas, do not dispare! We will be back, and soon! Rob moved to utah and is continuing the band there, with another guitarist and drummer. And dont worry, Tom will be joining up for a late spring tour! We can't wait to see what this year will bring us as a band, and as individuals. We wish you all the best in 2008. Never give up on your dreams.
-Rob and Robotronica

So I've been getting a lot of emails asking if the rumors that Robotronica is breaking up are true. So, here goes a semi-detailed explanation: The process of breaking up a two man band that consists of two best friends is a complicated and difficult decision. And one that neither Rob nor Tom want to think about. But after long deliberation and due to personal reasons, Robotronica is officially moving to Utah on September 1st.. I, Rob, will keep the band going while continuing school in the Salt Lake area. Once I get a solid lineup (yes, robotronica will have a drummer, bassist and guitarist), and a local fan base expect to see us touring back through town!
Tom has a few projects lined up and I will of course be sure to let you know what hes got going on. Tom is my best friend and an amazing musician and I'm hoping that he wants to move down to Utah in the near future, but i'm not keeping my fingers crossed (cuz tom has a life which does not revolve around myself).
Joe (DJ Riakoo) of course has his several projects but will no longer be producing any of Robotroncia's beats. Without Joe Robotronica would not exist. And thank you to Joe and his record label for producing Robotronica's first full length album. I owe it to him for getting me off my butt and out the door ... to the dance floor... yadda yadda yadda... a special thanks you, my friend.
and of course were would we be without our loyal fans. Thank you to our small loyal roboarmy that we love and hold dear. thank you so much for your support thus far and we will be back!!!
Big things are ahead for Robotronica: a new lineup is in the near future that will bring this band a fresh and distinctive sound. And expect the band's second release withen the next year on Robo Rokk Records!

So I finally decided to buck up, and choose. Choosing only ten was very hard.
10- Final Fantasy 10 - I know, I know... not the best FF game out there, but it is the first one i ever played. I later went back and played 7, 4, and i'm currently playing 3 for DS, but 10 still holds a special place in my heart for the mear fact it was my first.
9- Star Fox 64- To do a barrel roll press Z of R twice.
8- Devil May Cry 3- I feel kinda bad that this game is so high up on my list, but since there are so many other amazing games out there, it has to rest at 8. but it is at 8 none the less! Out of the many 3rd person action/RPG's I have ever played, this one tops them all. Amazing storyline, intense cutscenes, and of course, hack and slash. Different situations called for different weapsons. Using your demon power was just plain badbuns.
7- Super Mario All Stars- Okay... srsly... all 4 NES mario games on one cartridge... In my opinion, 3 of the best games ever made too... super mario 2 i didnt particularly care for, but it was still good... But this game made my top ten becuz i spent most of the 4th grade playing through Super Mario 3, over, and over, and over again. Super Mario 3 is the best mario game of all time, and if you disagree, killer robots will kill you in your sleep.
6- Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic- A star wars game set thousands of years before any of the movies that has a terrific storyline and you can CHOOSE whether you want to follow the dark side of the light. um... yeah, awesome... its been almost 5 years since that game came out and i still pick it up at least every 2 weeks.
5- The Legend of Zelda- Ocorana of Time- Some of you may kill me for saying this, but I truely believe that this was the best Zelda game ever made. I'm gonna stop talking about this one before I get a master sword to the face...
4- Counter Strike- This is THE best online shooter. And I stand by it. If you look past all the moders and hackers, this was one of those games that really did take skillz AND teamwork to win.
3- Super Empire Strikes Back- Out of all the star wars games I played (and yeah, i've played every one) this one was my favorite. A lot of that has to do with the fact that ep. 5 is my favorite. I would have to say that the most epic SNES battle i ever fought was Luke vs. Vader.
2- Resident Evil 4- Leon is such a badbuns. I've been late to work cuz of this game. I was on the edge of my seat for almost the entire game. And its scary as hell! I dunno how many times Jess was woken up by my girlish screams of fear emenating from the tv room. And you can play it over and over until you unlock everything there is to unlock. Plus, they finally got rid of the stupid control skeem that you were bogged down with in previous enstalments. Overall, this game was and always will be one of my favorites.
1- God of War 1 and 2- There really isnt anything I could say about these 2 games that would do them justice. If you've played them, you know what i've talking about. If you havnt played them, then i'd like to know what is wrong with you and you need to rent or buy them as soon as possible. The story, the character development, the graphics, the action, the weapons... EVERYTHING about this game makes it my 1. They freakin rewrite and create greek mythology here. Awesome game. I cant wait for 3.
so there it is, hope you enjoyed!

if you are a band in the area heed this warning: DO NOT PLAY RYMAR STUDIOS! If you even know who they are, that is. Rymar is the newest all ages venue located on the north end of bellingham.
Here is what happened to us: We get there for our show on June 1st after promoting like crazy for the entire month prior, and the flyers i dropped off weeks before were not posted. i soon find out that idiot pilot is playing across town, which is fine, but sucks for us cuz they pull all the bham kids. we had a stellar line up that night: Robotronica, The Trutones, Ten Killing Hands, and another out of town band. All of us promoted, and all of us pulled in about 3 people each. EVERYONE went to see idiot pilot. They have that big of a pull in bham. so for 2 weeks i try to confirm our show with Rediscover, Trutones, and Straight A Students for Augest 31st, and i finally get this message:
From: Rymar Studios Date: Jun 14, 2007 12:08 PM
Based on the attendance of the last show, we have decided that if you want to have this show at Rymar, you will have to promote it yourself and rent the venue. A Friday Night rental would be $1500. Weekdays M-TH are cheaper, $500, but we cannot afford to have bands play that will not draw a crowd. let me know what you want to do.
.....
.........
..................
lack of attendance? uh, hello?! idiot pilot?? need i say more??
I will have to promote it myself? Well seeing as how we did that last time that shouldnt be an issue, but any venue should be posting flyers for thier upcoming shows.
$1500?!?! uh.... not even going there?
and just the fact that he based our show attendance on our lack of pull instead of realizing idiot pilots pull just pisses me right off.
btw, they take 70% of the door. leaving 30% for 3-5 bands to split.... awesome.
its bull. I dont want to see him go out of business, but cmon d00d...
i dunno... i guess i'm just getting frustrated with this towns scene. it seems like one place opens the next place closes. such is life.
