RECORDING @ LE BARN

Having wrapped up a great summer season of fabulous outdoor concerts and backyard parties, Caravan Gogh has retreated to Le Barn in Troutdale, Oregon to record their first album.  Tentitive names of the new disc include, "Don't Gogh", "I Have To Gogh", "Please Gogh', "I Wanna Gogh", "What Happens If I Don't Gogh", and "Music To Scuba Dive To".  Do you have an idea for a catchy name for our new record?  If so, drop us an email with it.

Thanks Oregon Art Beat!
Oregon Public Broadcasting's (Portland Ch. 10) Art Beat crew wrapped up their third session of shooting with Jim D'Ville and Caravan Gogh today.  The shoot today was an interview with Jim about all things ukulele, a brief lesson with Jim and Nick Carlson, an eight year old ukulele student, and a few strums with the crew at the pond in Jim's backyard.

A big thanks to Producer Mike Midlo (right), Sound Engineer William Ward (center) and Photographer Tom Shrider (kneeling).  We had a great time hanging out with these fabulous folks.  Again, the air date for the feature is Thursday, June 22 @ 8 pm.  The show will then repeat on Sunday, June 25 @ 6:00 pm.

Thanks to everyone that showed up for the Troutdale Art Walk show on Friday, May 5, 2006.  OPB's Art Beat had a camera crew there and shot some footage of the show that will air on June 22, 2006 @ 8 pm.  This was our first live plugged in show and it went really well, so thanks again to everyone there that added to what turned out to be a great night!
