So I don't like to blog on this thing, it's messy and ugly. Meh.

Anyway, I tour a lot with other bands and I write all about it HERE...

Well James blew up the laptop with all my hours of videos on. The only thing left were these three pictures of us painting up some showers in Bath.

So The Maple State tour was mega super fun. Thank you for coming along, singing our songs and buying our merch.

For the next month or so we will not be playing the usuall 229285425.7 gigs play every week. Instead we will be practising our arses off, recording some new songs and boring stuff like that.

Jaime.

It's a cold late Febuary evening and Linda's Nephew are playing their first ever Watford show ever along with black beautys, My Passion. The venue is Baraka, a bar that looks like a curry house with a pack away stage set up in the middle. We (UMP stuff) arrive to find the nephew chaps playing chess, which they claim to have been doing for hours before they were let in the back.

Both bands play and smash it good, so much that Jaime's guitar stops working for the last song and he's forced so sing without and busts out some hot new moves as a result. We watch the other two interesting bands next, the first being a kinda 2 girl fronted harmony-raping, pop-funk-spaz band who really aren't as good as i make them sound. They're set sounds like one long and very boring song, which the tiny Watford crowd seem to dig :S Although the bassist's bobble hat shows some promise.
The headliners then come on, they're appear to be some dodgy 70's punk with a generic indie twist who claim it's their last ever gig (phew) but the bald bender frontman (wearing cowboy boots, a top hat and a waistcoat. Dancing all wierd and kicking the stool near us and shouting cunt alot in a cringe-worthy/predictable fit of anarchy) annouces his new band are set to support the Towers of London on their tour. I cannae wait!

During their set word comes to both LN and MP that they're not going to get payed tonight as the promoter has run off/not turned up so everyone is over joyed as you can imagine.

The bands finish playing the DJ plays some floor fillers and we all get down 'til closing time. Everyone starts packing up and loading stuff out the back. During this i decide i will make my own video blog as Jaime hasn't sorted a camera this time the twunt. So using my phone i shot a few silly billy moments, sadly as it's from my phone the videos couldn't be edited in the usual choppy LN style, so here are the separate short clips in youtube form:

The LN boys found a de-flated blow-up man sex doll thing and hilariously pretend they are stowing a body in their boot.

James rides a trolly thing out the back door whilst Tom stands there holding the nephew stage light

A rare interview with sir Thomas of Wilkeshire

Jaime straddles the nephew mobile

Simon from My Passion lies on the nephew mobile as they attempt to leave. Whilst John from My Passion blocks their exit in their van and talks rubbish through a megaphone.

I approach the Passion van carefully to check out the megaphone vibes

John is not impressed as people bounce up and down on the back of the van

In return for the jumping on the back of the van, John requests us to "Just get our arses out" (at least i think thats what he said :)

Thanks for reading and watching,
Peter from UMP

Listen to us try and sound interesting, Jaime getting told his trousers are like leggins, James be vile about Rob's mum and the drying effects of socks out of a car window.

Sorry about the wank sound, this was recorded on my MacBook and yeah.
