Hey everybody, greetings from sunny Florida. Night Ranger just finished some shows down here and I decided to hang in the sun for a few extra days.
Shaw/Blades shows coming up Dec 4 in Denver at Ogden Theatre (the Fox Christmas party) then Friday Dec. 5 at Green Valley Resort Henderson NV and Saturday Dec. 6 at Aliante Casino in North Las Vegas. We might be recording the Vegas shows for a live CD..... Rock out baby!

I have a radio show (Backstage Pass with Jack Blades) now on in Denver Co. on 103.5 KRFX Sat. from noon to 2PM and in Phoenix AZ on 93.3 KDKB Sunday 5 to 7 PM.

Press Release / Reminder - Shaw/Blades will be the featured guest on the Rockline nationally syndicated radio show airing Wednesday, March 7. They'll be talking about everything happening in their worlds their Influence album, a critically acclaimed collection of classics from the 60s and 70s which comes out the night before (March 6) on VH1 Classic Records; and their forthcoming U.S. headlining tour which launches March 16 in Dewey Beach, DE. As an added treat, Tommy and Jack will perform an acoustic set of songs from Influence and their respective bands. Bob Keelaghan of Guitar One recently described the album as one filled with "genuinely inspired moments." While Joe Bosso of Guitar World Acoustic hailed "The hard rockers clearly know the material inside and out, and play the acoustic guitar and harmonize like they've been doing the mellow thing all their lives." VH1 will be airing Damn Yankees 1992 concert Uprising.
 
"Uprising" was originally released & certified platinum on VHS in 1992, and now on DVD for the first time.  "Uprising" features the band at its peak in a live concert filmed at the Rocky Mountain Jam in Denver, Colorado. It is the only video footage available documenting this brief but popular union of rock superstars. The DVD Includes behind-the-scenes rehearsal and recording sessions, plus exclusive backstage footage and interviews with the band.
 
Formed in the early '90s, Damn Yankees featured guitarist Ted Nugent, Styx guitarist/vocalist Tommy Shaw, Night Ranger bassist/vocalist Jack Blades, and drummer Michael Cartellone. They released two platinum albums with countless radio-friendly tracks and had a top 5 hit with the ballad "High Enough."

We are mixing the new Night Ranger album. Should have that all wrapped up by end of October. I think King records will release it in Japan end of Jan. And same for Frontiers in Europe. Good rockin stuff on the record.

We have cut a deal with Sony/BMG for them to release a live record of our shows in Japan in 2003.

Tommy and I  (Shaw/Blades) are doing the Alice Cooper Christmas Pudding in Phoenix Ariz this Dec. 16. Maybe a few surprise Shaw/Blades shows before the release of the CD.

Shaw/Blades "Influence" set for Feb 13 release with VH1 Classic. first single "Your Move" will be released mid-Jan. 07. We will be touring behind in mid Feb-thru March. Should be fun. We are setting up the stage like it is our living room and in fact we will have winners sit in couches on stage with us.

This weekend Kelly and I are flying to Washington DC to do the Casey Cares benefit for cancer with Eric Martin, guys from Billy Joel's band, Nils Lofgren, Will Lee just to name a few. It is this Sat. night Sept 30.

Rock Of Ages Musical might be traveling to New York in March...lot going on.
