Our new CD, TREASURES, is here!  It's a a collection of classic gospel songs that you are sure to enjoy.  Recording took place in May at Lamp Music.  The new project, our first in three years, includes gospel standards such as "Leaving On My Mind," "To Me He's Become Everything" and "Treasures Unseen."  It's available at all of our shows, which will include the West Georgia Singing Convention in Dallas on Fri., Aug. 14.  All ten songs can be heard on our MySpace page.

And we hope to see you this year during our "Treasures 2009" tour! It is named so because we have pulled out several of gospel music's all-time classics and have incorporated them into our shows. For a complete listing of dates, log onto our calendar.

Wally Holland, husband of Christian Heritage lead singer and manager Diane Holland, passed away suddenly this morning at the age of 54.  A cause hasn't been determined.  He did have successful surgery to remove a benign tumor from his brain in August, and was just cleared to drive again.  An aneurysm has not been ruled out, but the examiner said the way the body fell it appeared to quite possibly have been a heart attack.  Wally was the pastor at Lighthouse Full Gospel Church in Winston, Ga., about 20 miles west of Atlanta, and was the sound man for Christian Heritage.

The family will accept visitors at the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home in Dallas, Ga. from 3 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, February 25.  A memorial service will take place at the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 26.  The funeral home is located just north of the square in Dallas at 123 Watson Drive.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations in the memory of Wally be made out to Christian Heritage or Lighthouse Full Gospel Church in care of Diane Holland; 6251 Melrose Dr.; Douglasville, Ga. 30134.

I would like to think all of Christian Heritage fans and friends for every prayer that you have prayed for me. The doctor has released me to go back to work on Monday (December 8,2008).  We serve a GOD that has all things in his hands and knows how to answer every prayer. Diane and myself love and appreciate everyone of HIS children.
Love and Prayers In JESUS NAME,
Wally and Diane

[Wally, Christian Heritage's sound man, had surgery to remove a benign brain tumor in August]

Wally made it through surgery just fine this morning at Atlanta Medical Center.  The growth was benign and everything has been completely removed.  He is sitting up in bed, alert and talking, and will be moved back to his regular room a little bit later.  The hospital says he should be able to go home in about three days.

And Jeff is doing much better after having to return to the hospital last night.  He had a heart procedure earlier in the week until and was doing well until yesterday.  He's feeling better and should be released from the hospital soon.

The Hollands and the Eberharts thank you for your prayers!

We have been giving you news on both Wally Holland and Jeff Eberhart.  Wally is still scheduled for surgery tomorrow morning, but we just got word that Jeff has had to be rushed back to Piedmont Hospital this evening.  He is suffering from pneumonia, heart failure and is spitting up blood.  As you know he had a procedure earlier this week that was supposed to help correct previous cardio problems, and has been doing quite well, and now things have turned in another direction.  Needless to say it's a serious situation and Jeff and the Eberhart family needs your prayers.  When we hear any other news we will certainly pass it along.

Christian Heritage's Wally Holland, who was found to have a golf ball-sized brain tumor after an accident on Monday, is going to have surgery to remove the tumor on Friday morning at Atlanta Medical Center.  The tumor is in the area that affects the speech, and the doctor said that after the surgery he may have a little trouble talking for about a month, but after that his speech should return to normal.  Also they won't know if it's benign or malignant of course until after they take a sample from it, but the doctor should know within five minutes.  Of course there's always the possibility of complications when a procedure like this takes place.  The Hollands thank you so much for your prayers and appreciate your continued prayers.

Also we'd like to let you know that the group's Jeff Eberhart was said to have had a successful procedure on his heart Tuesday, and that he is doing just fine.  The procedure took place at Atlanta's Piedmont Hospital.  Thank you for your prayers for Jeff and his family, please continue to remember them in your prayers.

Wally is still in an Atlanta hospital after he ran off the road into a tree on Monday.  The shocking news is that after a scan, a tumor has been found in the brain, about the size of a golf ball.  More tests are being run to determine the type of tumor, operability, etc.  Obviously the family is all shocked as nobody expected anything like this.  Perhaps God allowed the accident so this could all come to light.  So we ask for your prayers for Wally and the family.  Please pray for full healing and that everyone involved will feel God's comforting touch.  Thank you so much.

Today, Jeff Eberhart, our newest member and longtime soloist, will have heart surgery at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta.  Jeff has had cardio problems for a long time now.  Please pray that the procedure goes well and that this will put him in much better health for now and the future.

And Wally Holland, our sound man and Diane's husband, had an accident yesterday on the way home from work, when he went off the road and hit a tree.  He is currently at Atlanta Medical Center and reportedly suffers from bruising on his face, chest, and stomach.  He was put into ICU for observation last night.

We thank you for your prayers.
