Hey there, kids!!!

So, here it is, the beginning.

Here we stand at the start of a brand new year, chock-full of promise and possibility. New Year's Resolutions abound in America as of January 6th, 2009. Do I have any of my own, you may be asking yourself. Well, yes, as a matter of fact, I do. A few to be exact.  The first, as you can see, is to make a go of a blog. I real one, not one on Myspace or Facebook. Maybe there will be no big difference in people reading but I'm just interested in creating a dialog with my internal creative parts. I believe writing here and elsewhere will support that endeavor.

Oh. Maybe you don't know who I am. That's funny.

Most of the time I am just your average fella. I'm 29 years young and besides a few extra "holiday" pounds, I feel great. I'm a father, a son, and as I am pleased to announce, a brother. Due to a few recent developments in the crazy life that we live, my Dad was recently reunited with his first son. Woo-hoo...

I want to make this year the biggest and brightest year of my life. I have a good start so far. The big tests are to come. Staying to a regular writing schedule and practicing music regularly is going to be a big one. I need to get back into the habit of expressing my thoughts each day through a pen or a keyboard. It HAS to happen.

So here I am, at the beginning.
