New Bohemia Fund Raiser

Yes. With much thanks to Bridget at the Bohemian Cafe and Pub, Comics In Action will ONCE AGAIN provide the improvisational comedy that Comics In Action SOOOO known for. This time, the show is scheduled for August 7th (Friday) at 8pm.

Be sure to come out early. We simply can’t save a seat for everybody. Friday, August 7, 2009 (8:00pm - 10:00pm)

Comics In Action: LIVE at The Bohemian

This has been one HECK of a week! Two nights of Riff Raff Theater rehearsal and a meeting with an expectionally promising performance spot as the the future home of Comics In Action. It's been a while since we've held a public show and it's ABOUT TIME! :)

It won't be until mid-June before we wrap-up all the details. But, as soon as all the kinks are ironed-out, you guys will the first to know.

Artists Recovery Fund Benefit Concert Series

our friends at Riff Raff Theater are hosting another screwering of another classically bad movie. If you thought their sendup of Keanu Reeves' in 'Speed' was funny, just wait until you hear how they verbally abuse the Disney classic, 'TRON'. It's this Friday (April 25, 2008) at the Englert Theatre in Iowa City. Show starts at 8pm.

I know. This is NOT an official Comics In Action get-together, but our very own Agent Collateral Damage (aka Dennis Lambing) is finishing up his last semester at the University of Iowa in a valiant attempt at achieving a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. This is NOT an engineering event, but an art presentation for those taking the Intermedia course-work. Come on out and support those artists that have no artistic abiltiy 'what-so-ever', but a crazy idea they simply have to get across to their art-goers.
