Peeps,

Yes.  I'm posting a blog! And what has taken so long?  Well, so many things.  I will tell you.   If we were in the same room, I would say, "Please, have a seat on the couch.  Would you like something to drink?  Lets see, would you like a  yerba mate or pabst?   ..."Splendid, me too."
I moved to Brooklyn.  This means I left New Orleans, my hometown for...my life. I miss my South, but Brooklyn is treating me dandy.  I made a full length record which will be released by a record label that I am excited to be on. You can buy it on August 25.  More details to come.  I assembled a handful of special people, amazing musicians, and awesome artists to make the sounds and aesthetics of this record come to life in your room and onstage.  I look forward to introducing them to you.  I slept some.   In December, my little brother, Reed, died of heart complications.  He was 19 and it has all been very sad.  But, music is keeping me afloat.    I fell in love. And I bought some sunglasses.  And so ends a smiley face journaled era.  Thank you for listening.  Onto the next one...

See you this fall...about time eh?

: )
