well it's been a month today exactly since my last tour date but i just have now mentally prepared myself for a "recap" if you will...

massive big-ups to the people of mortville and their lovely warehouse for putting me on a month ago and letting me play for far too long.  special thanks to alex and julia (sonmi) for being such friendly and hospitable people, the uptown bar in minneapolis and the sextons (my pump for my air matress is sitting in your living room).  large manly hugs go out to man's last great invention and the world's tallest people, nebraska's finest.  furthermore i cannot forget about the bronzed chorus, baby birds don't drink milk, i love you, florida=death, zombies did it, tip-top secrets, teeth collection, and karass; all excillent bands.  hmm what else.  thanks to ricardo lagomasino for putting up with us for two days and taking us to get philly cheesesteaks.  thanks to the swamp in carbondale, bart from under the mooch, jeff from labyrinth press, jamie from skull alley, jacob from charlottesville and edan from brooklyn for putting on such great shows.  also, special thanks to kuma's corner and BBQ ribs for existing.  you have truly made the difference.  see you next time.

love,

jeff t. smith

as of last week, my old record "summer of glory" was finally released on itunes, amazon, emusic, napster and rhapsody music networks. (UPC:881034343741).

please help me out and buy the record as i currently have a low-paying job. apparently, itunes is offering an all-explicit version. this is not really the case, they just put it that way to cover their asses. at first i was thinking some apple representative just went in and added the words 'shit' and 'balls' to alot of my songs. anyhow please enjoy from the following sites:

Juffage - Summer of Glory

SUMMER OF GLORY ON RHAPSODY!

SUMMER OF GLORY ON AMAZON!

to be able to get SUMMER OF GLORY on emusic or napster you have to be a "member." that is silly. but if you already are then i suppose that's good. i am not. thanks again!

salutations,

jeff t. smith

N.B. in light of this, a live video shot in cagliari for "alternate version" from this disc, featuring nick rivera:

N.B.2. i put up a new song today entitled "my weakness" from a forthcoming record to be released sometime.

hey kids,

during my time in the u.k. i stopped off at a farm near norwich where there happened to be a recording studio and put together a live album of sorts. it aired on breakthru radio and was hosted by dj mr. jason, who also engineered the performance. anyway, i had a really good time recording it and it's a good chance to hear what i sound like live, in case you've never seen me play a show before. it also has some new songs on it which may, may not, or already have been made into studio versions. please check it out at:

Juffage Live at Old School Studios - 10/26/08

Tracklisting:
1) Intro by Mr. Jason
2) Declaration of Independence
3) My Weakness
4) Church Organ
5) Requiescat
6) Kent, Ohio
7) Tapes / Good God, Morning
8) Outro by Mr. Jason

Thank you for your patronage,
