Gayla Johnson has received the Sixteenth Annual Telly Award for her role in a sketch comedy series.

Gayla's portrayal of a non-suspecting, patriotic citizen brought rave applause and hilarious acclaim from reviewers at the premier. Her character was a terrified car-jacked victim who, after realizing the assailant changed his mind about stealing the American made car, transformed into the All American Citizen defending American-made vehicles, even if the wheels aren't aligned and the engine rattles.  She snatched his gun, o rdered him into the car, and demanded that he follow through with his original objective. "Steal American!"

Other sketches from Tilted Television were also shown at the premier. The private screening, which, closed with a networking Gala, could result in the event being rescheduled for an additional screening.

The Telly Award Competition is an International competition honoring non-network television commercials, programs and non-broadcast video and film products.

Gayla, a regular Headlining Comedian on the Hollywood circuit is the winner of the Icehouse/Uncle Clyde's Comedy Competition and finalist in the Funniest Female Contest. She's also a regular feature on Comic View and episodes of Sítv: Latino Comedy Jam and Inside Joke,.

Gayla Johnson is represented commercially by Morgan Agency (323-938-6250), theatrically by RPM Talent (323-460-6196) and managed by 7 Sails (818-337-8119)

Myspace Yoga
Achieving Nirvana at the Computer

Right-click here to download pictures. To help protect your privacy, Outlook prevented automatic download of this picture from the Internet. It's three o'clock in the afternoon, and you find yourself nodding off at your Computer waiting for your Myspace site to boot. You muster up what little energy you have left and make your way to the kitchen in search of an antidote. Your mind and body on auto pilot, you grab a cup of coffee and "something sweet".

Or perhaps you've been out working the club circuit for hours when suddenly your knees begin to buckle and you realize you still plan to checkin at MYSPACE.  You're online, your vision begins to blur.  You're on the verge of a tension headache, you down three Tylenol® (the recommended dose stopped working a few months ago) and get back to work.

Don't feel too bad if either of these scenarios seems familiar; it probably means you've been working very hard. The real issue lies in your choice of solutions. Next time you find yourself without energy, or on the verge of a headache, try doing a little MYSPACE yoga.

Yoga, a practice which combines exercise with relaxation and breathing, is something that can be done in the privacy of your own apartment, often while sitting in your chair. Here are a few simple stretches that are sure to help:

For low energy and fatigue - Sit near the edge of your chair, holding onto the sides of your seat. Gently stretch your chest forward and up. Tilt your head back, and breathe deeply in and out through your nose. Relax into the stretch while allowing oxygen to pass through your body.

While standing, raise both arms above your head and grab your left wrist with your right hand. Gently stretch to the right while breathing through your nose. Switch sides and repeat.

For headaches and eye strain - Place your index fingers directly above the middle of your eyebrows. Press with your fingers and hold. Close your eyes and breathe deeply through your nose.

If you're working at the computer, try to refocus your eyes every ten minutes by looking out the window. Once an hour, take a moment to close your eyes and allow your face to soften. Slowly roll your eyes in a circle. Take a few breaths and return to action.

Practice these techniques, and before long you'll be replacing caffeine and acetaminophen with good ol' oxygen.

Have any relaxation tips you'd like to share?
