For decades Tony Janflone Jr. has been performing and entertaining thousands of fans, in numerous venues, in ways most of us can only dream of.
Music has been his life, his passion, and the way he has supported himself and his family.
This year, Tony had his appendix taken out, which left him with a huge bill not covered by insurance. Shortly after that, he was in an auto accident with his wife. The accident caused 3 herniated discs in his neck, injured his wife and they were presented with a new set of bills. Performing, as he has done for the last three decades, has now become difficult and painful.
On January 1st, he will take a hiatus from performing to finally recuperate.
Over the years, he has given his time and talent to help others in their times of need. After seeing him sell a guitar to pay for his medical bills, his friends stepped up to say, "We want to help."
A benefit concert has been planned on March 13, 2008, at the The Rhythm House Café in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania. A fund has also been set up to aid this immensely talented musician.
We thank the many artists who have readily given their time and help and also those who continue to do so.

Thanks to Tony, Kay, Dave Wienk and wife, Mr.Tony Janflone, Sr., Curtis Swift, and all of the great people back in PA who went all out for this great event!! There was a multitude of support and I especially appreciate being able to participate. A special thanks to Jack Mrozowski (drums), George Elliot (bass), and Tony Janflone, Sr. (guitar) for generously consenting to be my backup band. They are phenomenal musicians and I was honored to be on the same stage with them!! I hope the crowd enjoyed our performance as much as we enjoyed performing. Donnie Iris, BE Taylor, and Rob James all put on a stellar performance, backed by the Pittsburg All Stars, and Billy Price and his band were in top form. The Skip Peck Band, with the spectacular vocals of Donna Peck, were fabulous as well. And Frankie Capri wowed the people in the back room with his famous show for hours!
Again, thanks to everyone who participated and helped out so much! You can still help out by contacting Tony in person, if you have the desire www.myspace.com/tonyjanflone
You are all the best!!
