The Good Ship, Wed 2nd December. New songs, new sound.Deathline return from their break with a bunch of new songs and a new sound at The Good Ship in Kilburn next Wednesday 2nd December. Death surfers Suicide Party from Southampton headline. They are really good. Put on two pairs of shades and come and embrace the darkness. Suicide Party + Deathline + Dark Sparks + Another Man's ArmyWednesday 2nd December, 2009. Doors 7.30pm. £4 The Good Ship, 289 Kilburn High Road NW6 7JR (map) Kilburn tube, Brondesbury Overground » This event on Facebook » This event on last.fm Peace In The City presents a night of dark new wave to tickle your goth pop taste buds. Bands from 8pm till 11pm then a free-for-all on our Good Ship juke box till 2am. Suicide Party Painfully cool death surf complete with funeral organs and 80's goth pop joy. Deathline "Deathline are a female lead duo with a fine line in post artrock rumble that purrs like a new born kitten and shreds your skin like a tiger on speed. Kinda like a 21st century Sonny & Cher having lunch with The Raveonettes served by The Yeah Yeah Yeahs' at Joy Division's greasy spoon cafe." - The Devil Has The Best Tuna Dark Sparks "Well, they'e certainly got the drama and drive of past mood pop heroes such as Echo and The Bunnymen and The Smiths but these boys bring an altogether more rambunctious attitude to their pop tones, with a healthy dose of grainy dissonance among the grandeur. Bullet in the Eye even manages to combine Editors-esque gloom with the vocal desperation of '80s post-punk demi-gods, Theatre of Hate and PiL. Let's hope they retain these fine qualities when the majors come a-knocking." -24-7 Magazine Another Man's Army Dark and atmospheric rumblings with PJ Harvey and Tori Amos influences.

With regret, we've had to pull out of the Southampton gig this Saturday for personal reasons. We're sorry about this but you must still go along and watch the amazing Suicide Party who we will be playing with in November at The Good Ship in Kilburn.
More dates to be announced soon, but till late Sept we're on a break from playing live while we craft some new material.

Hi Death Kids,
We're taking a break from flogging the "SixtyNine" material live to write and record a new set of songs for an EP to be released later this year.
Those who have been to our recent gigs would have heard one or two of them making an appearance in the set.
We'll be back with a brand new live set in September. Meanwhile, our merch store is now on sale for the summer. Please come and help us clear the shelves!
Stocks of the "SixtyNine" CD are now low and the T-Shirt is close to selling out (Large is gone, and M and S have only a few left) so get in while you can.
Thanks!
Jennie and Kaoru xx
