SeriousMusic will be playing at Funk From the Trunk, Golden Lion Bristol on 24th April with support from loads of DJs with clever names who like us. (Ta for that btw).

Don't miss this once-in-bloody-ages chance to experience the biggest sound ever made by five guys and some weird looking equipment.

We'll be giving away copies of the as-yet-untitled new E.P (suggestions?) so come along and remark at how long it takes us to make a record and how infrequently we manage to play shows... then drink too much cider and dance like loons.

Just a quick one to say that the EP will be out  soon, so hang on just a bit longer. We'll be giving it away at gigs, to anyone who asks nicely and putting it on iTunes for a few pennies. Not because we're embracing some new model of distribution, but because we're nice. And we can't afford to keep doing print runs.

Also as 2009 gets underway, watch this space for some new, entirely non hip hop collaborations as well. I have been spreading my wings, musically speaking, and it's sounding great. It won't be under the SM banner but I will provide signposts for you when it's ready. Like the one below.

A massive thank you to all who came to Mr Wolfs on 1/7 and made it absolutely bonkers and brilliant. Some thought post Glasto, on a tuesday, it would be quiet. They were wrong. We smashed it...Thanks also to Loko 6 and Panepidemic for their sets and also to Venue for giving us Choice Gig in the listings.



We need to get those details updated to show Chalk as a frontman and a few other bits! And also you didn't miss the E.P - it's not quite ready yet. It will be for the next gig though.
