Tomorrow we are going to do a photoshoot for the cover of the vinyl edition of An Object. And because of our busy schedules we..re gonna do it before you, or the local rooster, gets up. Hopefully we..re going to look great. But probably not.

paperboycalle sings:
tobias plays them drums and pete complete the mighty Burns electric guitar. At Landet yesterday we got so many hoorays and stuff that we had to play some extra songs. We did that and lost a few kilos more. It was freaking hot and me and tob the throb and re-peter had already lost maybe ten each before the gig. Tobias was so thin in the end that when Peter reached down to give him a drumstick he gave him Tobias instead. No that was weird. We got sucked up in a kind of time consuming warp zone but Björn snapped his fingers and we were back. But still, Rask went from square to line. (As an oscillator, I went from square to sine and Peter, as a traveller, went from Trafalgar square to the end of the line.) Playing a bit of dem olde songs yesterday, Uptight and Only way, felt just right. No Emax though, so no Strider. But hopefully we'll get that 12 bit beast working until next Saturday when we play Pluto in Gröndal. After the gig there were hugs from John, at least I got one, Gavin handed out some arms too and Johan told me about the purchase of the Queen of drum machines. Ah fuggit, some more info about the concert, the onstage volume was finally as loud as we want it and from the very friendly Basse came the words: Good sound (but in swedish of course, bra ljud). Our guitar technician Martin had nothing to do as usual. Peter played a very raw distinct guitar and Rasks drumming was "absolute hammer" to quote a german friend of mine.
PAPER 090715:
-DONT GO OUT WITH HIM -OUT OF IT INTO IT -UPTIGHT -BEFORE THAT DAY -MEANING OF A SPECIAL KIND -PEOPLE -ONLY WAY -SHE'S GOT LARD
EXTRA: -MY LIFE IS GOING UNDER -APHID
All our fans, except maybe for that fan on the table behind the mixing desk: Come get a closer look next time.
For now.

Good morning Vietnam. Well, some did and some didnt. Show up that is!! And the curtains did not always fold as they were supposed to. And yes, there are alternatives. 250 "ladies and gents" shaved up at Strand at easter friday, or long dito or whatever. From where? Somewhere I guess but nowhere I know. We played as number four outta five. I missed the first band completely, heard only one song by Ghost of desp dan (it was a Ramones cover) and listened to Stupiditys "City Boy" for a while. Impressive bass playing. Cool look which reminded me of finnish ferries around 1982! The audience were standing still though. After that it was time to fix up the gear and other stuff, like the strobe and the laser and the projections. Pipis, the phenomenal light tech, did it again, everything worked clock, thanks a thousand. Setlist: 1. Built the system 2. Before that day 3. People 4. Strider 5. Out of it into it 6. Aphid 7. My life is going under 8. Hold on me
We had some cord probs in the beginning of the beginning but soon the Poly6 worked fine and off we went. I gave People to Carl Olof and the crowed danced the night away. It is luxury to see people dance. Especially in the cold IT-Stockholm, cold and bistre. The sthlm crowed is getting better and better. Just before Strider Tobias the Bias said he needed something to hold the kick in place. it was arranged and i said "Another proof that metal helps" some laughed, some didnt. It was the only joke of the evening. After Hold on me the audience wanted more so we gave them She's got lard. A nice round off of the evening. In the dressing room we found out that all the beer that was Papers were gone and we blame the 40-plussers. We didnt care long though because the very friendly Ed made it happen. Cool! Later in the evening or late night or maybe early morning we wandered the streets of Knivsöder but pretty soon we went home to go to sleep. We were exhausted and tired.
Two tele cables were destroyed, we also lost our precious gaffa. Damn you, all of you! Big thanks to all at Strand.

Today Peter and Tobias was on the Rocket 95,3 radio show to promote tomorrows show on Strand. Tobias said one word and Peter said four, it went well. They played two of our songs: Strider and My life is going under.
Tonight we are going to do the final rehearse to accomplice total perfection tomorrow.
See you at Strand kids! /PAPER

...playing those same two chords over and over again? Face it pete, your stuck in a loop and that goes for paperboycalle as well. You're not a G just b'cuz you play A G all the time. even though it ended up as a new song recorded straight to DAT. F**k that DAT. The drums played by the nut-eating calle didnt sound that good. Well the sound was good but the fills, oh no. Thank god Tobias is back today. Then we can get some structure and discipline over the beats.
Will d-stroy Strand Friday!

Well well.
With the mighty Rask on skies and the mighty Boss on drums we sound like TVP.
