Hello and Happy New Year!

Don's back and will be performing live at P.A.'s Lounge tonight, February 14th. Yes, it is Valentine's Day. He's promised to play at least one love song. Maybe that REM song.  Also, the latest installment of shorts is finally up. Gary made these three untitled movies last summer, but they seem more relevant now than ever. 

Plus, a new album is in the works. And there are some verrrrry exciting collaborations that we can't even talk about yet.  So stay tuned!

Swingin' Pad...
Hop on over to the Lily Pad in Cambridge, MA this Friday, August 17th, to see Don live! Also performing will be the one-of-a-kind Darren Hanlon from Australia. Don had this to say: "I once saw Darren run up the down escalator at an airport in an attempt to sneak into the VIP lounge. I see this as a good metaphor for his music: creative, optimistic, daring, really funny, and totally against the rules."

And since we're on the subject of Darren Hanlon...
Those of you in the New York area have two chances to catch Darren on Thursday, August 16th: 6pm at Cake Shop in a special free in-store performance and 9pm at Pete's Candy Store.

Money In Music?
Josh Safdie captured DL doing an impromptu performance of Hazing. During the shoot, someone threw a five-dollar bill into his guitar case proving that you can still make money playing music. It's no secret that Don's a big fan of Safdie's movies, full of spaghetti cooking in cramped apartments, open-ended road trips with strangers and, of course, singing puppets.

Also, for those of you who have been asking when the hell the next installment of Gary Knight movies is going to be up, we can only say that Gary is very mysterious. And maybe a little lazy. But he did send us stills from his new series.

Someone pointed out that Chili's (the restaurant) is now sponsoring "Secret Shows."
Really think about that for a second.

For the last few months, Gary Knight and Don Lennon have been hanging out, talking about video games, Hollywood blockbusters and Japanese poetry. But somehow it led to something productive.
