THURSDAY, MAY 15th: REST IN PIECES: The Art and Life of Joe Coleman (approx. 1 hour)

R.I.P Rest in Pieces is director Robert-Adrian Pejo's intimate portrait of painter Joe Coleman, who is known around the world as a shamanic, moral voice diagnosing the ills of 21st century America. Coleman holds nothing back, telling us of a world wracked with tumorous cities, perversion, divorce, violence, atomic bombs, and a human race destroying itself "simply because we are born.

THURSDAY, MAY 29th: COCKFIGHTER (approx. 84 minutes)

Warren Oates delivers another riveting performance in COCKFIGHTER, Monte Hellman's audacious, sensitive adaptation of Charles Willeford's novel. Oates stars as Frank Mansfield, a small-town Georgia man who gets caught up in the illegal game of cockfighting and finds that his losses far outweigh his winnings. Cocky and belligerent, Frank loses his chance at winning the Cockfighter Of The Year medal to Jack Burke (Harry Dean Stanton) the night before a big tournament, when he challenges Burke to an off-the-record cockfight. Two years later, Frank is still struggling to win the award. To prove his seriousness, he has vowed never to speak again until he claims the medal. This puts an obvious strain on his relationship with Mary Elizabeth (Patricia Pearcy), who is contemplating marriage with another man. Frank truly believes that if Mary Elizabeth sees him in the ring, doing what he does best, she will embrace and accept who he is, and will agree to marry him. As the most important tournament nears, Frank continues to focus solely on his rooster, believing that it holds his only chance at redemption.

THURSDAY, JUNE 12th: SPEAK OF THE DEVIL: The Life of Anton LeVey (approx. 85 minutes)

One of the most fascinating and accomplished figures of this or any other age, CHURCH OF SATAN founder ANTON LAVEY. This unique documentary contains exclusive interviews and musical performances by LaVey, historic clips including a rare early Kiddie Show appearance The Brother Buzz show and a fascinating tour of his legendary Victorian San Francisco home, universally known as "The Black House"... This privileged peek at LaVey's lair includes his Ritual Chamber, Music Room, Library and the infamous retreat he called the "Den of Iniquity", a perfect reproduction of a dank and slighty dangerous Saloon which LaVey peopled with lifelike statuettes of brokendown bar patrons that he made himself. This copy of SPEAK OF THE DEVIL is printed from the director's original dub master and comes in a sturdy new clamshell box (Because this title is now primarily sold by mail and the rigid boxes offer more protection, the old original paper cartons were discontinued) Many of the copies of this film that circulate are just dubbed down bootleg copies of the print I'm offering...you might save a buck or two, but as in all matters, you get what you pay for. This film was made by the director of the popular cult documentary The Goddess Bunny which is currently being offered in a separate auction.

THURSDAY, JULY 10th: PRANKS! (approx. 1 hour)

Five Fabulously Funny Interviews with Fiendishly Flamboyant Pranksters discussing diabolical (& sometimes illegal) deeds. Dazzling deceptions and put-ons from some of the most outrageous artists living today. Starring Karen Finley, Joe Coleman, Boyd Rice, Frank Discussion, Mark Pauline.

THURSDAY, JULY 24th: BLUEGRASS ROOTS: Makers of Music in the Blue Ridge (approx. 1 hour)

This U.S. public television special originally aired in 1965, and documented Bascom Lamar Lunsford's talent casting of his Asheville Mountain Music Festival. Including "Mountain Dew," "East Virginia Blues," "Groundhog," and more. This 60 min. program is shot in black and white by David Hoffman. Also showing; The End of An Old Song
