Following the last absolutely unhinged event in the ex phonodrome, roll up your sleeves for the next round.

And this time we have found a truly remarkable location.

We are getting ready to party with you in Kubik, an installation created from 154 industrial water tanks. This lightroom work of art was premiered in berlin in 2006 and has also hosted parties in lisbon and barcelona in the summer of 2007. It is our great pleasure to welcome you to Kubik in hamburg on 1st August 2009. 

Special guest on the night is local hero Bastian Herrhorst alias Fukkk Offf,  who, with his new album “love me, hate me, kill me” locked and loaded, will deliver one of his grandiose live sets.

Moonbootica - Strobelight - incl. Kris Menace Re-Edit

Whilst ‘Metropolis’ currently storms dancefloors the world over, Kris Menace has managed to find time to showcase a hot new talent on his ever so growing label Work It Baby... Moonbootica! 

These chaps have been causing a bit of a stir in their homeland Germany and since hooking up on a distant beach, at the end of the last century, they made a pact to make music together… their motto being "as we like it"… what counts is the music, nothing more, nothing less. 

That’s right… what it says on the packet is what you get! ‘Strobelight’ sounds like it’s meaning. The original kicks off with the creeping input of the good ol’ kick drum with slips of the occasional synth then by midtrack breaking into a colossal electronic pulsating hand-pumping drive... perfect for creating and holding peak time sets and creating that full on strobelight effect! Kris Menace couldn’t keep away and we don’t blame him… a stunner of a re-edit takes the original flips it over and adds several whirlpools of breaks into it… deliciously dark! More quality as we’ve come to expect from Work It Baby, so get your ears around these!
