Testimonials to our trainees from top workers in the state.

Kimo - “The UWC trainees are some of the best on the indy scene.  They work hard and are very respectful.  Most have branched out to other shows and are not just staying where they are comfortable.  The difference between them and others is that they are asked to come back and they look like wrestlers, both in size and they wear gear.”

Nemesis - “In 13 years of working some of everybody, these guys are some of the better trained trainees I’ve worked with.  They are respectful and most of all they listen.  And this is coming from someone trained by Lodi doing power plant training”

Joey Silvia - “Its good to see there is still a place that trains people properly, ATL did really good in our match”

AJ Summers - "Being a part of UWC, obviously i have faced and trained with many of Kid Cas trainees...regardless of how long someone is in this business, your constantly learning and getting better and can learn from anyone his trainees have shown alot of heart and dedication to bettering themselves and learning everything they can from ppl they are hungry and pay their dues, and definitely have EARNED everything that they have accomplished"

Sean Cruise - “the UWC trainees are professional and respectful to the guys that have been around longer and are always eager to learn and improve...they help make the UWC locker room one of the best to be a part of"

Phil Shatter - “the workers trained by Kid Cas have a passion for this business.  Not too many indy shows I do show respect like this group”

Who is the #1 promotion in NC?  We’d thought we’d share some FACTS, not opinions, but FACTS about why the UWC is #1.

Here are 10 reasons why:

1. The UWC has been around for 7 years and 7 months.

2. The UWC had 17 shows in 2007, 20 in 2008 and has AT LEAST 24 scheduled for 2009.

3.The UWC is the ONLY place in NC you can see Phil Shatter, Kimo and Christian York.

4. The UWC is the ONLY promotion to have 6 guys with RECENT WWE experience, Kimo, Phil Shatter, Christian York, Joey Silvia, Shawn Alexander and Kid Cas.

5. The UWC has the ONLY wrestler booked on all 6 WWE shows in this region for the past summer, Kid Cas (Greenville SC, Charlotte, Greensboro, Raleigh, Richmond, Norfolk).

6. The UWC has more wrestlers to appear on WWE TV than anyone else in NC.  Kimo 3 times(Heat twice, ECW), Joey Silvia on Raw, Shawn Alexander on ECW and Kid Cas on Raw three times.

7. The UWC has 8 guys over 240 lbs, Phil, Shawn, Alex, Plowboy, McClain, Novak, Allen, Watts.

8. The UWC is the ONLY promotion to throw shows in 4 different cities on a regular basis.

9. The UWC draws an average of 200 to our Kinston shows and 150 to our Snow Hill shows.  That is NOT an inflated number, ask any of our workers.

10. Of all the companies still around today, the UWC was the FIRST to have: a local TV show, a ladies division, a training facility, the ladder rumble match and Mickie James as the ladies champion.

BIG NEWS - The UWC will be in Kinston at the Fairfield gym the first Friday of every month.  Along with the 3rd Friday of every month in Wilson that makes for at least two shows every month.  The UWC will also be adding a 5th city to their touring schedule in 2009.

EXCLUSIVE - Congrats to Phil Shatter for winning the Carolina indy award for wrestler of the year.  Along with Kimo, the 2007 rookie of the year, that makes two huge stars who you can only see in NC at the UWC.

Number 1 - Kimo, Phil Shatter, Joey Silvia, Christian York and Kid Cas have combined for over 3 dozen WWE bookings, the most in any company in NC.  When the WWE came through the area this past summer, Kid Cas was the only wrestler booked on all 6 shows.  With over 7 years and over 90 shows, there's no doubt who is the 1 promotion in NC.
