Every moment of life should be spent creating, to counter each second that you're dying; without this balance, a body is an hourglass emptying, your mind a distraction to the passing time.

Knowledge from books and the corn-fed intellectuals they birth are overrated; what matters most is your cleverness and capacity to love...let them both grow big, but not on a farm.

...on a traffic-less street last night (meaning, it wasn't a necessary maneuver on his part); I, being the careful John I am, didn't come a bit close to hitting him (despite no effort on his part to avoid a possible non-stopping John). In response to witnessing this someone in my car says, (affecting a voice this stranger may or may not have used in real life) "I take things one rule at a time." To which I reply, "...and I make them up as I go. "
I think, at least by my perception of "you," that mind frame is most people's problem, but admittedly, not enough my own (meaning I should have some of that mindset).
Nothing mind shattering here, but, be free to be your own person, but obviously not at the expense of others; let's all meet up in middle, with some reasonable compromise.

I caught it!
A brilliant white hot flash of old school John creative thinking just streaked across the horizon of my brainscape...I know how to brand myself...it's so simple...
Logos and layouts pouring out of me...feels like lil' pixies made of night sky, cool starstuff lips kissing me on the forehead in the middle of a formerly anxious, pent-up, night-sweat.
Bonerific, all free flowing now.
Must create.

From the Acts of the Postulates
"Moses, who's raison d'etre was the courtship of many a fine goat, reasoned that all true love must come from John (the concept first originating as worship of three legged perspex turtles with single iridescent eyes, and for 'those friends' who went to the store to just get milk 'real quick' but realized they might as well get a few other things 'cuz they were there anyhow and it wouldn't have made sense for them to make another trip later').
Moses often wisely punctuated this point, with rosy face hole bellowing, 'can I get double the meat for just a buck more?'

This is the word of I'm Bored
Thanks be to John."

Current mood: lonely
Category: Writing and Poetry
I was in the presence of these words last night...
"If I knew for a certainty that a man was coming to my house with the conscious design of doing me good, I should run for my life,"
...told to a woman in panicked fury, voice bellowing with that old timey "stage" drama of one who once sold a piece of his soul for not-so-magic beans via nomadic trickery, his memory of which, ideally, is lit so that silhouettes were tapered against a musty velvet curtain; nothing has ever chilled me so instantly as did the collective experience of that moment, a moment where you feel usually unconscious perception resonating in new, alien spaces (with that added sense of surreality that comes from realizing they were folded neatly inside familiar places) .
But to my "I was once part of academia" brain cred, after said man quoted Thoreau, I realized that, oh shit, that was from "Walden," and all I could say in defense of the woman was "Omg I love Thoreau..."
And I get it, and I agree with what was said and why it was said, he and he an they were right, I know the context of why those words were spoken, but, in this case, the weight added to the situation had all the unnecessarity (<--- I make words up) of waking up a mouse with a shotgun.
My life has been a bit pedestrian of late, so as sick as that lil' "adventure" may have made my stomach, at least some interest was had from watching the usual "paradigm" shift into competition with another, for a bit.
P.s. Advice against driving John crazy at work, Part 1: "People who are wearing headphones should never EVER eat chips. This should explain itself."

Unwarranted complexity is the desire to create wrinkles, or deepen those that do exist; plastic tragedy for the sake of added texture.
