What a busy week... Tuesday, Thursday and Friday of this week I had to opportunity to travel with Martha Munizzi. This was the first full week of travel that I've had with her. All the other dates were just overnight trips. Tuesday we were in Durham, NC (my friend, Khristian Dentley, led Praise and Worship at FaithWorld and did an awesome job). I came home Wednesday only to look at my husband and kids, cook dinner, take the clothes out of my bag, do 2 loads of laundry, and pack for my trip the next day (man, I did a lot in 24 hours, LOL)
I am learning so much from this experience and I wanted to share some things with you. Never discount the seed of time and sacrifice you sow into other ministries. Luke tells us "give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.". It's not always about sowing money, although that is a definite method of sowing, but when you give your gifts, talents and time and you use that to help someone further the vision that God has placed in their heart, count that as seed sown and then EXPECT a harvest specifically from that ground. When someone does something to help me, that is my prayer ~ that God would bless them as a result of the seed they have sown into my life. I mean ~ I am expecting some great harvest!!! So when you see God begin to open doors and the harvest coming, don't be so surprised... remember you planted seeds for that.
Another thing is that there is definitely a hunger for the presence of God, but because some places are stuck in their religious ruts the supernatural presence of God could be right there, but they will never receive from it. It is time to put away all of our rituals, even the ones we feel are the "formula" to get the presence of God and open our hearts and our ears to the move of God right now... He is calling for a passionate pursuit of His glory. The Bible says that at the point of UNITY is where the blessing of the Lord is. In 2nd Chron 5:13 it says that when the singers and musicians were as one, that a cloud of the glory of the Lord filled the house, even the house of God, so that the priest could not stand to minister. Rituals and agendas cannot stand against a united group of worshippers. Every time you have an opportunity to minister or go to the house of the Lord, go with the purpose in your heart that you are uniting with the "true worshippers" to see the manifested glory of God so that His perfect will would be fulfilled. It is only the presence of God that destroys the yokes of bondage on the lives of His people and we are reminded and restored to the original plan that the Father created us for before the beginning of time...

EMI Artist LaRue Howard Releases Debut CD
CD Titled "How Great Is Our God" Releases on March 11th
Nashville, TN -- When your calling is worship ministry it's evident in your music. EMI Gospel artist LaRue Howard is gearing up to drop her debut album How Great Is Our God, slated to release March 11th. The album is a collection of worship rhapsodies that are as notable as they are spiritually centered.
How Great Is Our God brings new perspective into the merger of Contemporary Christian and Traditional Gospel music. Howard's rendition of Chris Tomlin's hit and title track, "How Great Is Our God" moved many industry taste makers to their feet during her two song performance at EMI Gospel's New Music on the Horizon Showcase during Stellar Award weekend. The album reflects Howard's diversity as its tracks progress from calming and reflective to energetic and dynamic and back again.
The singer's vocal transparency invites you into the secret place of her own personal worship with songs like "Blessed Assurance" and "God Alone". "This song "God Alone," explained Howard, is just an example of my own personal worship time with God." Additionally, "Open the Eyes of My Heart", a popular Contemporary Christian tune, finds Howard sharing vocal duty with Jason Crabb of the infamous Crabb Family.
Before recording How Great Is Our God, the singer, opened for Praise and Worship's elite minstrel, Israel Houghton and has worked with a host of other artists such as David and Nicole Binion, Stephen Hurd, Jason Crabb, Martha Munizzi and Natalie Cole, to name a few. Howard also, served as Vocal Director for the background vocalists and Vocal Coach for the contestants of TBN's Gifted competition, affording her the special opportunity to work with music industry legend, Andrae Crouch.
In support of the album, Howard is currently on a multiple week church promotional tour visiting cities such as Cleveland, OH; Atlanta, GA; Indianapolis, IN; Washington, DC and Detroit, MI and an official tour with World Vision will begin shortly after.

The pre-release tour has begun. With about 25 days left until street release, I've taken the worship experience of the new CD to about four events. EMI is so hyped about the release so I want to do all that I can to make the people aware of the availability in their local Wal-Marts and Family Christian Stores.
First stop was in Orlando at the Ebony Fashion Fair show hosted by, my Sorors, Delta Sigma Theta, Orlando Alumni Chapter. It was a great experience… many of the models were affected by the presence of God. I was asked to only prepare one song so when I finished singing the title cut, several of them came from out of their dressing rooms with tears in their eyes asking me to please sing another song…
Next stop was Mt. Zion in Cleveland, OH with Pastor Larry Macon. At their mid-week bible study the presence of God was so strong. I had prayed and asked God to release a new passion for His presence over the people and I believe that He did just that. Amazingly enough, Pastor Macon said, "This is awesome. I feel like we need to just come in here and just have a time of worship."
The following week, I went to New Hope International, Warner Robins and Church in the Now, Conyers, GA. It is wonderful to be in a church where they understand purpose of their praise and why they worship! By the time I got up to minister to the presence of God, He was in the place, in full force ready to receive our worship at another level. I went to New Hope a day early and worked with, ministered to the choir and we really had an "encounter", where God had an opportunity to minister to their hearts.
I'm really excited about what God has been doing in these last two weeks. I can only imagine what's going to happen next. Even though this is NOT an easy thing to do because I'm having to move out of my comfort zone, I will continue to say "Send me, I'll go."
Moving towards the vision with Gr8 expectation,
LaRue
