Hey everyone,
I thought it was time for an update, I know sometimes it seems like everything is quiet but in the background lots is going on...
Bringing you up to date here is a little bit of what happened late last year and what I'm working on at the moment...
I sung on the Carl Kennedy vs MYNC Project track 'Ride The Storm' which was released in October and made number 1 in the dance charts - it was also a dance floor anthem in Miami, Ibiza and the UK. You can still hear it on my MySpace player - and if that makes you want to own it you can do that too!
Buy it on HMV

I also had the opportunity to support the 200th anniversary of the abolition of slavery by contributing a cover of 'Someday we'll all be free' by Donny Hathaway - you can hear it at:

The album will be released soon and features some of the greatest artists of black music, including Billy Ocean, Ruby Turner, Junior, Maria Lawson, Voices with Soul, Roland Gift, David Mensah, Brian Temba, Jag and Sumudu. The renowned songwriter and producer Wayne Brown produced it; I'll post another message when I have all the release details.
And so on to 2008 - I'm writing a new album, which will be released later this year. The first single from that will be called 'I get high' and the first opportunity to hear this and some other tracks from the new album will be at the London Jazz Café - where I'm playing next week on Monday 28 and Tuesday 29 April.
Come and join me!
