I know it. And I can admit it. I can't dance. And I would kinda like to be able to...

Even just a couple of quick little "Teaser moves" that I could kick into for like 4 or 5 seconds that alluded to the possibility that I COULD dance if I really wanted to. You know, where people would look up quickly and say "man, he's really good".

I'd do anything to be able to dance. Anything. Except actually practice which is the one thing I'd really have to do... But even with practice I'm not 100 percent sure that I would be able to dance. I'm usually not afraid to look like an idiot in a variety of situations. Anybody who knows me knows that to be true. But looking like an idiot while SERIOUSLY trying to dance is absolutely the most ridiculous a human being can look... I'm not sure I can go there - and look that stupid - long enough to actually improve.

So here I am, trying to accept my existence as a perpetual wallflower... Relegated to the sideline and to the bench during any function that requires mad skills and rhythmic confidence on the dance floor... And living with the deep longing that only my fellow non-dancers can truly understand.

I have had a great 2 weeks... Just sayin'.

I'm feeling very creative, energetic, productive, content - all good things. I'm trying to figure out what the exact equation is so that I can keep it up... And I think I'm getting close.

I couldn't find this video for the longest time because I was looking for the wrong artist...

I thought it was David and David -- But it was "Godley and Creme" doing a song called "Cry". They used to be in a band called 10cc and also directed a shitload of other 80's videos including The Police ("Every Breath You Take", "Synchronicity II", "Wrapped Around Your Finger"), Duran Duran ("Girls on Film", "A View to a Kill"), Herbie Hancock ("Rockit"), Frankie Goes to Hollywood ("Two Tribes", "The Power of Love"), Sting ("If You Love Somebody Set Them Free")..

It was WAY ahead of it's time. It totally freaked me out when I saw it. It's still cool.
