As many of you know I have been playin guitar in Wess Floyd and The Daisycutters here in Nashville for the past year and half. That has been my primary focus when it comes to making music and the energy required that goes with it. This weekend I made the decision to walk away from that project.

As a result I really feel like there's something inside of me that I need to get out when it comes to making my own songs. With other guys that were a part of the Daisycutters I am forming a band called Shotgun Lover, I have played under this moniker before, but this time it will be us as a band. We are currently recoding a new project, i can't say when it will be done, but I PROMISE it will get done. I have owed it to myself and many of you for quite some time to finish many of the songs I have and really pursue this with my full heart and devotion.

I will still be keeping the Andrew Nelson myspace page and plan to release an EP very soon under my  own name. It is called Sabatical and is more than halfway done already. As for Shotgun Lover, we will have a new Myspace page up and running in the next few weeks, so keep a look out for it.

I'm really excited about all of this and look forward to any support any of you give.
