About Shape of Eventual Groove:


Behind this name is progressive songwriter Vitaliy Stodolya. Vitaliy was born in Novovoronezh City in 1980.

At the age of ten, he entered music school and had his first experience creating electronic music at thirteen years of age. With the help of a drum machine and pair of analog synthesizers at home, he crafted his first tracks. From 1997 onward, he continued to experiment on the PC.

In 2005, he created the project "Shape Of Eventual Groove" - a name which is based on the professional approach to sound processing.

About Deriwer:


He discovered electronic music at a very young age,in the mid 80s, through the likes of Kraftwerk, Jean Michel Jarre, The Communards, Depeche Mode, Tangerine Dream, etc. In the early 90s, he started to visit local clubs in Hungary and discovered the underground sound of techno, trance, and progressive house.

After watching the dj's at work in the club, he soon realised his calling was DJ'ing. After learning the technical side of DJ'ing, he started to organize parties for friends. A few months later, he got a chance at a local club as they were looking for new DJs to promote their night. After a succesful few years, he moved to London in 2000...

In 2003, he began to write sample based music for his DJ set. Since then he developed his home studio and has begun more serious work in music composition.

About Timothy Allan:

Allan first discovered electronic music in the mid 1980's after hearing songs composed in the almost extinct method of computer 'tracking'. Discovering the underground, pre-Internet BBS scene that traded and created these files would prove to be instrumental in furthering Allan's creative development. Initially using computer and software technologies to create compositions, Allan eventually felt limited by the restrictions of the medium and began to explore other avenues of production.

In 2002, with the acquisition of a synthesizer workstation, studio monitors, a four-track recorder, and a small drum machine, Allan began to write using physical instrumentation rather than computer-generated sound. He continues to explore and extend the boundaries of this medium and works to produce music from his private studio.

After moving to Australia in 2004, he merged his hardware with software in order to take advantage of the unique benefits that each have to offer. Now, with the convergence of the two technologies, he has found a musical vehicle that is truly limited only by imagination.

Timothy Allan is currently approaching his music with more serious intent as it is proving to receive positive attention from critics and consumers alike.
