Tons of updates for you…
Yes we are still alive and breathing. We have been very busy here in our notch hole of the Bible belt we call Cincinnati.
NEW SONGS
Two new demos versions of songs have been posted here on our Myspace page. "Killer of Kenton County" and "Mrs. Templeton" are two new barnburners we hope you will enjoy. We are in fact in the process of finishing up a new record. More details on that later. Keep checking back for new jams, as we will be adding them in the coming months.
NEW MEMBER
Welcome aboard! We have a new addition to the Turnbull gang. Brian Penick (Death in Graceland, Lightweight Holiday, and many more) is now rounding out the rhythm section on drums. Be sure to say hey and have a drink with him at some of the upcoming shows.
NEW SHOWS
We will be playing a great show on November 17th at the historic Southgate House in Newport, Kentucky with our friends the Sheds, as well as Gentleman Caller and the Impossible Shapes, both hailing from Bloomington, Indiana. We are also very excited to announce two dates with our good friends Margot & the Nuclear So and So's. Friday December 7th we will be playing at the Dame in Lexington, Kentucky, and Saturday December 8th we will be playing at the Mad Hatter in Covington, Kentucky. Do not miss these shows!
With the coming months you will see us out and about all over the area. We just bought a new van, and plan on putting some extensive miles on her. Keep checking back, as many new dates will be added for the coming year.
Cheers, The Turnbull AC's

LOCAL ACT PAYS TRIBUTE TO CINCINNATI HISTORY
The first week of May is going to be an eventful time for The Turnbull ACs. The Cincinnati quartet will be releasing their much anticipated debut album, and to celebrate, they will be playing three shows, in three nights with three entirely different line-ups.
Paying homage to Cincinnatis musical past, present & future, the Turnbull ACs will be performing at 3 venues that have each played a role in developing the citiy's music scene: alchemize on May 4th, the Ludlow Garage on May 5th & the Southgate House on May 6th.
Located in downtown Cincinnati, alchemize is a modern club that is a little over a year old. In its young existence, it has already been named best overall Bar/Nightclub in 2006 by Cincinnati CityBeat and has accumulated numerous awards and press. The Turnbull ACs will be performing their new album in its entirety on Thursday May 4th; guests include Moth and 500 Miles to Memphis.
The Ludlow Garage has a rich history in Cincinnati music past. Vice mayor Jim Tarbell was the proprietor of the Ludlow Garage in early 70s and it was a popular destination for such up and coming acts as the Allman Brothers, Janis Joplin & Santana. This will mark the first time in over 30 years that live music has been attempted at this classic venue. The Turnbull ACs will be performing with the Staggering Statistics and the High & Low at a 8pm show on May 6th.
The Southgate House, built in 1814, stands on the river of Newport KY and was the former home of John Thompson, the inventor of the Tommy Gun. The Southgate House is considered one of the most respected live venues in the mid-west, hosting A-list acts such as the Strokes and the White Stripes. In addition to several tracks from their album, the Turnbull ACs will be performing several b-sides, with guests Margot & the Nuclear So & Sos and Kentucky Struts on Saturday May 6th.
The Turnbull ACs self-titled debut will be available in Compact Disc format for $10 at all 3 performances, as well as at a sneak-preview listening party scheduled for Sunday, April 30th at The Cock & Bull Pub in Covingtons Mainstrasse Village. Also, a special b-sides demo EP will be given away at the Southgate House show for all attendees that come to all 3 shows
