It's been a summer and it's almost gone ... at least it feels like it in rainy Vancouver. We got to do some really fun things - like playing a house show tour on Vancouver. I fell in love with house shows, and I think the rest of us did too. There's just something so intimate about playing music in someones living-room. It brought the music and creativity back into what we're doing.

So we're booking our tour to support our new album. The western Canada tour will be in late September, and than we're flying east to Nova Scotia, and through all those beautiful provinces into Ontario in late October. As we book, we're looking to play as many house shows as we can - rather than clubs and bars. Not that clubs arnt fun every now and again. It can just be such a draining thing to do night after night. So we're putting the offer out there - if you want us to come and play a concert in your living room (or the barn in your backyard, or your friends parents mansion or whatever) and you live in Canada, email us at info@eisenhauermusic.com. I bet we could make something work. We'll be in western Canada from September 26 untill October 6 or 7 and eastern Canada from Oct. 15 - 27. We're trying to book a house show in most of the cities we're playing - ranging from Vancouver (obv), Calgary, Red Deer, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg and any or every small town in between. Than out east we'll be in Halifax (and really anywhere in Nova Scotia because it's too beautiful to not stay for a couple days), Saint John, Charlottetown, Fredericton, Quebec City, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto and all around there.

So if you think this is something you'd be interested in, you can email us. I think it'd be fantastic to have as many of these great little shows as possible.

as far as the new album goes - it shouldnt be too much longer. we're currently working on the design with renound designer/photographer - the one and only - JAMES MOES! (he's famous to me).

should be ready to go in september sometime.

I think myspace is a desert now, with a few lost monks scattered around (us being one of them). But here I am, blogging anyways. We have a new album recorded. It’s being mixed right now and than some other things will happen. I should probably put a new song up.

But really, you’re the only person reading this anyway Mom, and I can just bring the cd to your house when we come for Auction 45’s and hot buttered rum.
